Love Thai Sushi at The Fountains

Server was extremely bothered to have us walk in and service was slow. We received one appetizer one hour after ordering. The appetizer was yummy, but the server was slamming plates down on the table and sighing at basic requests to remove allergens.

The food is okay. Not the best takeout but dining in is good. The Toro Boba is AMAZING! On the other hand, the service is not good at all. We came in 45 minutes before they closed and the waitress was apprehensive and was saying the kitchen was about to close. Also mentioned it multiple times while we looked at the menu, and while we were eating.

The service was incredibly disappointing. We waited at least 15 minutes just to place our drink and appetizer orders. When our appetizers finally arrived, we had to wait again until I got up to ask for plates. We were given only two plates for four people, so I had to request two more. When the additional plates came, one was dirty with rice on it. They eventually brought clean plates, but we were still missing utensils, so I had to get up once more to ask for those.

As for the food, it was tough to chew the seaweed on the sushi roll. I also noticed that the onions in another dish had black spots, which is a sign of mold. I do not recommend this restaurant, and I urge management to address these significant service and quality issues.

Everything was really good! The salmon and yellowtail were delicious and everything was fresh. We had the edamame, summer rolls (with the rice paper), dumplings, sashimi, and chef’s choice. The only thing that wasn’t that good was the tuna. I would suggest doing the Chef’s choice every time! You tell him what you don’t want and what you like and the roll is amazing. I loved it and the flavor combination was perfect 👌. I will definitely go back again! I want to try their noodles. 🍜

I've eaten at this place before and I enjoyed it this time I don't know what was going on it was really slow and service should have been much faster we sat down and it was about 15 minutes later somebody finally walked around to ask us what we wanted to drink we were ready to order we placed our entire order at that moment and then my vegetable spring rolls showed up I was so excited to eat them I take a bite after dipping it into the peanut sauce and I noticed something Sharp but I just thought it may have been a piece of a vegetable or something I swallowed it took another bite and felt something sharp again I spit it out and it ended up being a little piece of plastic about 1 inch long.
I immediately spit it out stepped outside and threw up the other piece of plastic.
End the service was so nonchalant about it as if they didn't even care.
I definitely will not be going back

Did not disappoint- sushi was best we’ve had in Boro, terrific calamari & fried ribs,upbeat- cheerful owners/service we will definitely be back!

For my second time here, The best things about this place were the staff friendliness and overall cleanliness. The sushi was not good. The staff, while friendly, were not very attentive and brought out incorrect orders or incorrect portion sizes, or forgot about some of the orders entirely. The wait time was extremely long. No one came to get our order for the first 20-25 minutes that we were there and it took a long time to get the food.

My recommendation to improve this place would be to hire additional staff, to have shorter wait times for getting the food out to customers, and getting better quality sushi-grade fish. The quality of the food was ultimately not worth the price. It was very expensive and would have rather spent my money at Oiyshia or Lemongrass tbh. I hope it gets better because the location is nice.

The food is consistently excellent but the service is consistently slow/disorganized. If the food could come out at roughly the same time & water glasses were refilled just once, it would be a 5-star restaurant all day long.

The sushi was absolutely amazing! It hit the spot and the rice they used was cooked perfectly! The music was amazing as well! I even added one of the songs to my playlist! The music was in Thai! 11/10

This is the best fresh Thai food in TN! Delicious and healthy everytime, and the service is friendly and amazing!

We ordered drunken noodles, Shrimp Dumplings, and Spicy Tuna Roll. Great flavors and portions.
