I've loved Joanie's since the very beginning. Conveniently located with fresh delicious food and coffee. Their gourmet burgers are my favorite. Come starving because they are huge.

The music was too loud. This caused the people in the restaurant to have to speak up which caused more noise.
Also, our food was made incorrectly and had to be recooked; however, we were never informed. I had to go up to the counter to ask why it was taking so long.
Also, be careful when they are ringing you up. They tried to up charge my sister when she asked for her potatoes to be put on the side instead of in the main meal. They tried to charge her for a whole other side of potatoes until I called her out.

The food is actually really good.
Absolutely fantastic! We stopped in for lunch and were blown away by the quality and great atmosphere. I got the tombstone burger (I highly recommend it by the way) and my wife got their patty melt. Their fries were PERFECT and everything was so beautifully plated! I would definitely come back!

The food and drinks are good. It’s a great place to sit and get some work done. However, there is a rank smell of sewage. It’s bad enough to make you want to leave, and I did. I don’t want to assume others are doing the same, but you guys should.
Edit: Where did I tell people to not come? I just said that if the smell was bad enough to make me leave, then it’s safe to assume it could be making others leave. Having a plumbing issue that needs to be corrected is fine, that’s all you had to say. But no, you got defensive. The lack of reviews about a bad smell doesn’t mean it didn’t actually smell bad. I was there, I would know. Not once did I claim it was “always like that” either. It seems you have a propensity to respond negatively to reviews that are less than favorable. After 6 years, I’m sure you understand reviews are vital in sharing the success of your business with others and providing feedback for improvement. That being said, since it’s clear you don’t respond well to reviews with 3 stars or less, or anything remotely “negative,” then maybe you should remove the google review codes from all your tables.

Joanie’s – One of the Best Cafés and Breakfast Spots in Murfreesboro, TN
If you’re searching for the best café in Murfreesboro or simply a cozy spot to grab breakfast, Joanie’s is a must-visit. Conveniently located in downtown Murfreesboro, this café blends small-town charm with big flavor.
On my visit, I tried the Mile High Crepe, a special of the day, which was absolutely loaded with ham, mozzarella, and tomatoes . It was hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a breakfast in Murfreesboro. My mother ordered the Joanie’s Burger, and she raved that it had some of the best blue cheese she’s ever tasted on a burger. Paired with their crispy, golden fries, it was a standout lunch option.
To round it out, I had their iced coffee, and I can honestly say it’s some of the best coffee in Murfreesboro. Smooth, refreshing, and perfectly brewed; this alone makes Joanie’s worth the trip for coffee near Murfreesboro.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a self-service setup that’s quick and easy, and the staff are warm and friendly. Whether you’re after the best breakfast near Murfreesboro, a quick lunch, or just a pick-me-up coffee, Joanie’s has something special to offer.
For anyone wondering where to find the best café in Murfreesboro, TN, Joanie’s should be at the top of your list.

The crepes here are really good. Also the breakfast tacos. Any of the coffees I’ve had are also very good. If you like hot, ask for “extra hot” because it takes them a bit to get your coffees. Staff are friendly and efficient.
