I am not usually one to write reviews because I would say it takes a lot to impress me but I have to say with all honesty that the buttermilk biscuits we had at brunch were the best I've ever had. They were slightly crunchy on the edges and soft and slightly chewy on the inside. The fresh jam and cultured butter were the chef's kiss. We also had the Calabrian broth, the lamb hash, and the avocado toast. All were delicious, perfectly cooked, and generous portions. Although we didn't drink this time around, the cocktails looked fantastic and they surprised me with a birthday cookie and ice cream that was decedent and delicious! If you have the opportunity, GO!

Had an amazing 5 night stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are fantastic. The breakfasts are great especially the chicken waffle think my wife had this every day … we will definitely stay again outstanding hotel

Great atmosphere and service. Loved the bar area to start the night. Food mediocre and over-priced.

Went out for brunch and had a fantastic experience — everything from the service to the food was excellent. Our server, Shreyas, was outstanding: attentive, efficient, and very friendly. I’ll definitely be returning!

UPDATE: My first experience was underwhelming but I gave it another try and the biscuits and gravy for breakfast were great. I gave this place another star (from 3/5 to 4/5) and would go back.

Original review: 1 Kitchen at 1 Hotel is a beautiful restaurant inside a stunning, high-end hotel. The concept of the menu is fantastic, and I love the overall vibe. My beet salad, however, was unsalted and a bit underwhelming. The chicken was seared, but parts of it were burnt, and I had to cut them off. Just a few tweaks in the kitchen and more attention to seasoning could take it from good to great.

That said, I’ve heard from a friend that the sandwiches and brunch are excellent, so I’d definitely give it another try. Service and atmosphere are both 5/5 stars.

Overall, not quite a five-star food experience this time, but I can see the potential and would go back.

During a recent visit to Nashville, my husband and I dined at this restaurant for breakfast, drawn in by its stunning decor and inviting ambiance. The elegant interior left a strong first impression. We arrived around 9 a.m. on a Saturday, and the restaurant was surprisingly quiet, with only a few other patrons present. Our server was courteous and attentive, promptly taking our order. The food arrived quickly, but unfortunately, the experience fell short from there. Our coffee and juice orders were forgotten initially, and we had to remind the server. When the coffee finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best, and the juice was served only after we had finished our meal, following another complaint. No coffee refills were offered throughout our visit. The food itself was underwhelming, failing to match the high expectations set by the restaurant's atmosphere. For a bill exceeding $90, we anticipated a far more polished dining experience. Regrettably, this visit did not live up to a five-star standard.

I just ate one of the best meals I've ever eaten in Nashville. The service and food were phenomenal. Our server shereas was very kind and helpful. There was a DJ Nikos playing great tunes, r&b, soul and funk. A little bit of Pop also from the back in the day making this soundtrack for my breakfast Fantastic.
The gluten-free chicken and waffles I ate were the best I've ever had and The dish blew my mind. My wife had the oat cakes because neither of us can eat gluten. We were very happy with our breakfast. I had a Earl Gray tea which was fine. Don't expect a lot of frills with you. Want to drink like latte or something like that but the tea was fine. For dessert. We had the banana pudding creme brulee. Wow! I felt like I was in heaven while I ate it.. I can't wait to come back and visit kitchen one again and try some of the other items.
Everything about my experience was above my expectations.
In short, this place is awesome.

We just had a lovely dinner at the 1 Kitchen! Everything was perfect and the weather was great so we chose to sit outside and take in Nashville’s lively energy 🌟 We ordered the Seared Hokkaido Scallops and the Black Hawk Farms Teres Major as our main - both dishes were excellent. For dessert we ordered the Pistachio Lemon Cake - divine! Also shout out to Shreyas who was taking care of us, he was attentive and extremely kind. It was awesome having him as our server, thanks Shreyas for an amazing experience!

We were 4. The gluten-free person found it. A farm-to-table restaurant. They were fine with modifying orders for the GF person. She was concerned about sauce on trout, so it came on the side. 2 of us shared a 12 oz steak that was sensational. Crunchy outside, stupendous flavor, cooked to perfection. Also. Shared beet salad, quite good. Person 4 got scallops. We had to make the theater, and they were great about that too.
