Staff was very unfriendly and iced coffee tasted mostly like milk. Very disappointing and I wish i spent my $11 at the dunkin down the street instead

Been going to this coffee shop for nearly 10 years and it hasn’t been the MOST consistent, but it tries. However, this morning I ordered 2 drip coffees and while walking back to my car, was taken aback by the most extreme chemical plastic smell. Turns out the lids of these new(?) cups were the culprit. Despite my aversion to smell, was hopeful the coffee would be drinkable. Unfortunately, the smell/chemicals leached itself into the coffee and both my husband and I felt as though we were just ingesting polyurethane. Tossed our money and coffee in the trash. I would recommend a new batch of lids y’all.

Great vibe and friendly staff. The light roast is perfect and the veggie breakfast burrito is very tasty. Would order again. Good indoor space and nice window seating. Good for rainy days.

Nice coffee shop... BUT the food my fiance and I ordered was terrible. I got the veggie burrito and it tasted like the cook quadrupled the salt in the recipe, inedible. My fiance hit the chorizo burrito and he had a huge puddle of grease in the bowl. We are not picky eaters. Grab a coffee, or go to an actual breakfast joint.

Good coffee! Great beans. The oat milk lattes are often flat unfortunately. The renovation feels more spacious! It is just always sooo cold. They have 3 big ac units set to 64!! Like… that’s crazy the floor is concrete and the walls are brick so it’s very hard, sharp, cold and uncomfortable. Why would you make a coffee shop so cold? Weird because the other location on charlotte is incredibly cozy and bright.
