I made the mistake of doing an online order for a Chai latte. When I picked it up, I only realized that it was HALF FOAM after I had driven away. This isn't something I drink regularly, it's a once in awhile treat. Over $6 for a cup of foam. What a rip off.

Love this spot. Really great coffee, good atmosphere, and a nice place to get some work done. They also have really great beans you can buy, and have a deal to get the third bag 50% off which makes it the most affordable local beans of good local coffee. Ethiopia beans are killer. Check it out, you won't regret.

Drip coffee was okay. The seasonal coffee was not good at all and the pastries were dry and stale

My espresso tasted sour. And I didn't like my other coffee, I would have tried to order something else but the bristas were standoff-ish, and too busy having personal conversations with friends. So maybe my espresso would have tasted better but who knows. Don't think I'll be returning, which is disappointing the other one was nicer.

We ordered two drinks and two grilled cheeses. When we ordered, there was two men working. One guy was making drinks and the other took our order. The guy who took our order was very cold and it was like swimming through honey to interact with him as we ordered. The drinks came out fast, but the guy who took our order seemed to completely forget that we ordered and paid for two sandwiches. 20 minutes after we paid (confirmed by the time stamp of the text receipt) we reminded the other employee that we were still waiting on two sandwiches. He was friendly and removed the pre-made sandwiches from the fridge to be heated immediately. During the 20 minutes before anyone started to heat our food that was pre-made, the guy who took our order took a few other orders, but mostly engaged in a super friendly conversation with another customer. He was leaning over the counter with a drastically different personality than the cold one he had when we ordered. This suggests he knew the other person. It’s very unprofessional to abandon someone’s order to talk with your friend. The bread and cheese was assembled before we stepped foot into the building and personal conversation took priority over filling a simple order. I am giving two starts for the other guy that was working the entire time. I know he engaged in conversation too, but he continued to work while chatting. No sane person cares if an employee chats with their friends who are also guests, but everyone cares if you abandon half of the order they already paid for. Im not sure who’s responsibility it was to heat our food but it appeared as if both functioned together as a team (register, drinks, food heater).

Everything is great. Only downsides are high prices for an average/standard latte and limited parking.

Best vanilla latte of my life. The breakfast sandwich was also delicious. The vibe was great, but the girl working there wasn’t very polite.

I spend $55 on coffee beans at this place every month. They have stopped printing the roast level on all but two bags of their coffee. None of the employees can tell me why. It's very frustrating because it's a big part of how I know if I want to try a new bag. I guess I'm going to have to find a new place to shop.

Moved here from out of state a few months ago for a new job and was in search for a good coffee shop to have my daily coffee and read before work. I found out quickly 8th and Roast on 8th Ave was perfect for me. VERY chill and calm ambiance for readers to have a coffee and a good book. Also great tasting coffee! Kyle has been absolutely great as, right when he sees me walk in,he automatically grabs my usal and has it ready before I even pay. The other baristas are also are extreamly nice and welcoming as well. They definitely take care of their regulars. Highly recommended for readers or people who want a good chill place to study/work.

Love this place. Quality of product is great: drinks, whole beans, and food. Withholding a 5th star to draw attention to online order site, which shows out of stock for items that are obviously sold in store. Will happily add 5th star when this is fixed ?
