Food was ok but service disappointing - they rush out all the food at once, don't clear dirty dishes (even before dessert) and you have to ask for everything twice... Go to Degthai instead

Had dinner here during a recent trip to Nashville. The best Thai food I have had in some time. I had the green curry, my dad got the massaman beef stew and my mom got the basil fried rice. My curry was excellent, and since I got to eat my dad's leftovers, I can say that his dish was magnificent. My mom didn't seem super thrilled with her fried rice, but she also wasn't too enthused about going out for Thai in the first place.
The restaurant is quite lovely and has a nice ambience. Two of our dishes came out with the wrong meat, which wasn't a huge deal...the server was very apologetic and I'm not sure it was his fault they were wrong...but it was a blemish on an otherwise superlative experience.

Ordered khao soi via Ubereats -- I was really looking forward to this because there aren't many places in Nashville that offer khao soi on the menu. However it tasted more like a generic red curry than khao soi.

This place was so amazing, especially because of their customer service. The ambiance was calming with a simple elegance. The food was excellent. My husband and I are totally plant based, and our waitress Chi was AWESOME. She took time to let us know the foods that had fish sauce in it as well as oyster sauce, and she detailed for us the foods that were completely plant based, vegan, to include the sauces. What an exceptionally delightful experience. ??
Dietary restrictions: They took great care to provide for my husband and I a totally plant based dining experience, including the sauces without fish sauce or oyster sauce.

Aroi by Smiley Thai is a TOP Thai restaurant in Nashville!!! (Maybe my #1!)
I had the Red Curry per the server's recommendation, it had such amazing depth of flavor, pleasantly spicy, the veg was cooked perfectly, and the chicken was super tender. My friend had the Pad Thai, I tried a bite, and it was one of the top Pad Thai's I've had in Nashville. Thin traditional rice noodles, rich, flavorful - YUM!
The service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant was modern, clean, inviting, and fun! My only regret - I didn't take any pictures... you'll have to take my word for it!
I will hurry back soon! And I suggest you RUN, don't walk, here.

The atmosphere and service here are stellar! However the menu is confusing and the taste of the food is off balance, we ordered the tom kha, shishito peppers, chicken fried rice, and green curry and the food was okay. The shishito peppers were not good, I would come back to try other items on the menu to see if they were better than what we ordered.

The best Thai I’ve found in Nashville (and I’ve tried over a dozen). My aunt is from Bangkok, so I’m spoiled with great Thai back home in NY. This place does it right! Also, I love I can truly get Thai hot here on the spice scale. Sushi is very fresh too. Can’t recommend this place more!
Came here for my birthday, 10/10 ! Tip is included in final bill which came in handy bc you don’t get those updated charge amounts on your bank account when you tip after you pay then when they add the tips at night it takes off your card as an updated amount & my bank personally does it weirdly to where it charges twice basically so the one payment with tip included sits well with me especially since I didn’t have cash this night. they have some of the best sushi that ive personally had so far. Will definitely be back. Server was attentive and friendly!

We had Delilah as a server and she was so welcoming and very attentive. The dishes were amazing and the atmosphere was great. The katsu curry and tom yum soup was to die for. 5 stars all around we love it here. Definitely worth waiting if there’s a wait.

So happy we stumbled upon this gem! I would say this is some of the best Thai food in Nashville. I moved here four years ago and Finding great thai has been a struggle, and this was perfection. Delilah was a fantastic server. She was bubbly, and so sweet and fun. Loved the ambience and every dish was absolute perfection. They have a Lychee Martini that Is the best I ever had! This place is a must go! Run, don’t walk!! Lol.
