We live in the neighborhood so we called in an order to-go and used the 15% off flyer they left on our door. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere as it is unassuming from outside. Service was solid but the hostess was busy taking calls so I had to wait about five minutes before she was able to help me. Not a big deal at all. She grabbed the food quickly and I was on my way. I couldn't give a 5-star rating for service & atmosphere because we didn't dine-in so my experience was relatively limited. The food however, delicious. We were delighted because solid thai food is tough to find in the Nashville area. You pay for it as it's a little expensive. But what isn't these days. We are looking forward to getting back there soon.

AMAZING food, drinks, & service. Seriously. Came here with a group of 15 before an event, & we were all beyond happy. Absolutely no complaints.

Very deceiving!!! Bad restaurant!!! I don't mind getting automatically charged a service tip when the party is big- but there were only 5 of us and they automatically charged us 20%, not 18%! To top it all, the way they print their receipt is very deceiving. They give tip suggestions at the bottom, including the total amount. If you didn't see that the Service Charge was already automatically added, and you follow their suggested tip and total, you will end up paying the tip/service charge amount, at the very least, twice! If you're thinking to be more generous and give more than 20%, you'd be paying more than twice the service charge. Really very deceiving. Really bad. What agency can we report this bad practice?

So good! We got Sunday night takeout including Pad Grapow Moo Krop (with an extra egg) and basil fried rice with chicken. Both dishes were really tasty, with generous portions of meat and fresh, crunchy veggies. We loved the crab Rangoon too! Our order was ready right when it was promised, and everything was well packaged. The space looks so pretty inside, so we're looking forward to coming back and eating in the dining room.

A huge variety of Thai and Japanese options. And all of it done well! Be sure to check the specials board because they had some really interesting menu items like the takoyaki which I haven't found elsewhere in Nashville.

OMG, very tasty authentic Japanese food. After spending two years in Japan I have been hard pressed to find delicious Japanese/Thai food in Nashville. A-Roi By Smiley Thai delivers! We started with Shishitos Peppers, Gyoza, Crab Rangoon, Oysters on the Half Shell, and Yakitori. Everything was delicious, flavorful with the taste and flavor of Japan. My cocktail was a Lychitini which was my first time trying one and I loved it. Very light and refreshing. We also had The Clifton Rolls which my Son said were very good. I ordered the Crab Fried Rice and I was pleasantly surprised to see the fluffy, moist rice that contained egg, Crab, peas, carrots and all the veggies I had grown accustomed to having in Fried Rice. It wasn't just Fried Rice alone. The restaurant is decorated beautifully, the waitresses were very attentive. A-Roi by Smiley Thai has gained a new customer. Thank you for bringing these uniques flavors to Nashville.

It is sooooo good!! I got the pad Thai, my husband got a roll and another noodle dish. It was some of the best pad Thai I have ever had and the beef noodles were outstanding. We eat sushi a lot and the roll was in the top 3 of all time for my husband. Beautiful place, super friendly staff, go there, you won't be disappointed .

Party of 7 had an incredible birthday dinner at A-ROI. We ordered 12 different dishes and everything was fantastic. Don’t miss out on the devil roll, basil fried rice, dumplings or pad thai!

Hands down the best Thai food we've found in Nashville. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's fairly new, so I feel like they're still working out some service issues, but the food was absolutely amazing! This will be our new preferred Thai restaurant, and we're so happy to have found it.
