I had an amazing experience at Abbisinia Ethiopian Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The ambiance is cozy and filled with traditional Ethiopian decor, which adds to the cultural experience.
The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I order kuanta firfir, and kitfo. every bite was full of authentic spices and perfectly balanced textures. The injera was soft and tangy,
Portions were generous,
Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy traditional Ethiopian food in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Hands down, the best Ethiopian food experience I've had in the States! Abyssinia Ethiopian Restaurant is an absolute gem.....authentic, flavorful, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Every dish is made with care, bursting with traditional spices and heartwarming taste. The injera is perfectly soft and tangy, and the tibs and doro wat are out of this world!
What truly sets this place apart is the owner, Yetem. She's not just the heart and soul of Abyssinia—she’s the best in the business. Her passion, warmth, and attention to every customer make you feel like you're family. She takes pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen, and it shows.
If you're looking for real Ethiopian hospitality and cuisine that hits every note, look no further. Abyssinia is a cultural and culinary treasure!

The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a perfect blend of vibrant flavors, fresh ingredients, and authentic preparation. The injera was light and fluffy, serving as the perfect complement to the rich and flavorful wot dishes. The doro wot, in particular, stood out with its bold spices and tender chicken, while the tibs had just the right amount of seasoning and a delightful smoky aroma. It’s clear that great care and skill go into crafting every item on the menu.

I'm from Los Angeles and was craving Ethiopian food. The owner was nice and prepared a large plate of meat and vegetables to our preferred spice level. The food was accompanied with copious amounts of moist injera bread. We also had a pot of Ethiopian coffee from a clay pot and it was excellent.
This place is absolutely amazing! Your party will eat from one plate, with a choice between vegetarian, meat, or combination plate, as well as spice level. The flavor and food is absolutely amazing, and the people here are very friendly. Definitely an amazing place to eat.

It's a very sad thing. A person opens a restaurant without knowing how to cook. After a few bounties I stopped eating when my stomach rumbled. While I was surprised by the food, I was also surprised by the price. I really felt compelled to write this, even though it was hosted by her husband. It is not a house where health and money matters.

Went for lunch. Introducing a friend who had never had Ethiopian food before. Super expensive and not very clean. Wasn’t given a menu and it was my fault that I did not insist on seeing the menu. Won’t make that mistake again because the check was twice as much as I expected it to be. Food was OK. I have eaten at many Ethiopian restaurants, this one was average but the atmosphere was below average.

From google this place opens at 11:30am. Took Uber to go at noon but the place was closed and there were drunk and drugged people around. I felt unsafe and recorded another Uber. Wasted time and money. Don’t recommend coming here.
