Had the chance to visit Arnold’s finally, and boy did it live up to the tradition. The sweet lady behind the counter was so nice I went twice in one day and I did not catch her name but I would go back just for her hospitslity!
But then the food came! All top notch. The fried chicken was something you read about, the pies were baked beyond reproach, and the bread pudding had me ruined for life as I will never have a better one ever again!

Step back into a nostalgic time of life when life seemed simpler. I intentionally came on Tuesday, on my way to the airport. I ordered the grouper, which was stellar. If you are a fan of Southern food this is a go to place. We were at a private event. I heard people raving about the turnip greens and macaroni. I thought the chicken was a bit dry therefore the 4, but the roast beef was delicious, and the staff was friendly and efficient.
