I had such a great experience here, what a great place to stop in and check out if you’re traveling alone. The bartender I had named Eric was so nice and friendly. Eric helped create a drink catered to my taste preferences which was impressive seeing that this bar did not have a menu for cocktails but had their employees asked what your drink preferences were instead and made a cocktail based on what you liked which I thought was so cool! Very memorable and Eric also gave me some great suggestions on what to do as a tourist visiting the city. The experience overall felt very personable and inclusive. I will most definitely be back here the next time I visit Nashville.

I have been to this place twice, and I love coming here when I visit Nashville. If you are a true cocktail lover, then this is the place to come. The line outside can be long sometimes, but they are usually pretty fast at letting people in. The bartenders are very friendly and really pay attention to your preferences in a drink. I highly recommend this place.

There are bars. True. There are places that serve alcohol. True. There is also Attaboy. I felt important. The people making my cocktails felt the same. It was a match. Sometimes good things take time. Only thing missing was a boy named Sue.

We have had two experiences with Attaboy, one was lovely while the other left us completely disappointed. Our first time at Attaboy was February 10th, at about 11:45 p. m. The front door host was extremely sweet and talkative. He happily and seated us and we waited about 10 minutes. Our waitress was amazing and took time to talk to us, and our drinks were great. Our second visit couldn’t have been more different from our first. After our first visit, we figured we’d take some friends from out of town here. We came here on February 29th, about 8 p.m. We had 10 people total in our group. But, we were FULLY aware and wanted to respect the limit of 6 people per party policy. So, we decided to split our group to 5 and 5 people. We went up to the host door, and when he asked how many people we had, we simply said “We have 10, but can we do 5 and 5?” This man, I promise, before even letting me FINISH MY SENTENCE, starting shaking his head at me, interrupted me, and aggressively pointed to the sign that says “No more than 6 guests”. Forget the fact that he is an employee at a respected establishment, I have never been spoken to like that by another human. So I said “Oh I completely understand, which is why we were hoping to split our group up”. He then said that that was not allowed because if we got up and talked to each other we would, verbatim, “Ruin what we have going on here”. I seriously have never been so taken back by how I was being spoken to by another human. I then told him “Well okay, 5 of us for sure wanted to come here, the other 5 were apprehensive, so we will just do us 5”. Again, rudely, he said something along the lines of “Are you sure? Because you can’t get mad if I see you guys talking and I drop the check”. At this point my jaw was just dropped. We insisted that ONLY 5 people would be in our party, and were finally seated. The other 5 people in our group ended up going later in the night with no issue. We did not run into them.I’m sorry for the long review, and I would like to add that I have waitressing history, and have also been a hostess for a privately owned business. I know that sometimes patrons can be rude. With that being said- I make it my mission to ALWAYS treat staff respectfully because I’ve been on the other side. But to be spoken to like a child for asking a question was completely unacceptable. Also, lets say I went in and randomly saw a coworker or friend without prior knowledge of them being there. I’m getting my “check dropped” for waving or saying a quick hello? I don’t know if the host was having a bad day or something, but I seriously expected so much more after our pleasant first visit. We will only come back here for the drinks, but if we see the same person at the door, we will regrettably turn around and not go in.

During our enjoyable night out, a friend suggested that we visit "Attaboy." As locals, we were inclined to support local businesses. However, we were disappointed to see a sign on the door stating that reservations were not accepted and groups larger than six were not allowed. To our surprise, a group of seven people approached the door, and the person in charge allowed them to skip the line, asking for a certain person named Boonie. Bonnie and her group, consisting of seven or eight individuals, mentioned that they had put their names on the "list." Regrettably, we have decided not to patronize this establishment due to concerns about discriminatory practices.

One of my favorite bars in Nashville. Super knowledgeable craftsmen and crafts women behind the bar, customizing every delicious cocktail. Darker, sexy, hushed vibe inside with a beautifully intimate space and layout. Love this place for sure!!!

Such a cool experience and worth the two hour wait! There is no menu, they just ask what kind of drinks you like and make something specific to your taste. Everything we tried was delicious and the ambiance at 1:30AM was really something.
