Everything: food, drinks, staff, environment is always on point
Sehr nettes Personal, sehr nette Location. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-17
Huge respect for vegan restaurants that deliver bold, satisfying food and AVO gets it done. The og nachos were flavorful and generously portioned. The cauliflower wings with gochujang sauce were outstanding, great texture, amazing flavor, and even gluten-free (note: very spicy, so choose buffalo if you prefer mild). The Dan Dan noodles were excellent, with chili oil, walnut crumble, and green onions.
Lastly, we ordered the pecan cheese cake but it’s was just okay.
Overall Good vibe, super friendly staff, and our server Carson was fantastic. Five stars, will definitely be back when in Nashville.

AVO is such a gem! I ordered the smothered burrito with walnut chorizo (definitely add it! It takes the burrito to a whole other level and makes it absolutely out of this world). I also tried the kimchi rolls, and wow the peanut sauce is to die for. I normally don’t like peanut sauce at all, but this one was perfect in both flavor and consistency.
Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is amazing they have music playing in the background, but it’s at the perfect level where you can still comfortably talk and hear everyone at the table.
Parking was super easy too. There’s plenty of garage parking, and AVO validates parking for 2 hours, which is a huge plus. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back! 🌱✨

I’ve been to avo before and have always enjoyed it. We came here to celebrate my mom and sisters birthdays. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience this time. From the moment we walked in it was obvious we weren’t there specific clientele so they treated us as such. Our server Trent was absolutely terrible. He was super disrespectful to our entire party and paid zero attention to us. We ordered drinks which didn’t come for 15-20 minutes, got the incorrect appetizer and then didn’t receive ours for another 20 minutes, we all ordered different meals which all ended up being the same ingredients just with different names (food is disgusting) and my sister didn’t get her food until after the rest of us finished our food. When we asked for one of our drinks to be cancelled (because we were already done and it still hadn’t arrived) our server walked away without saying a word so we had to flag him down again. When we finally got the bill (which another server brought to us instead of ours) we noticed that they added a “large party” tip on for our group of 8 people. We ended up having to give him a almost $40 tip which we absolutely did not want to. I will not be back as this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone…

Food waaaay too expensive for what you get. I’ve tried quite a few things on the menu and they have a lot of good things to offer but you are NOT about to sell me a burger for $20 and not include fries! ROBBERY. The fried mushrooms are not fresh though, I can tell they’re frozen first, and don’t taste like oyster mushrooms. The fried cauliflower was battery on the inside which I don’t like.

AVO was the highlight of my family’s road trip to Nashville. No fake meat all natural options and the best matcha I’ve ever tried (vegan or non vegan) make AVO the best vegan restaurant I’ve been to in a while. Plus, when so many other vegan restaurants are ridiculously expensive, AVO is a rare example of a restaurant with tasty food, fantastic, professional service, and affordable prices. I can’t recommend AVO enough!

Pretty disappointed. I ordered through DoorDash (I’m here on vacation) and got no utensils. How am I supposed to eat a salad and Mac and cheese with no fork? Not even a single napkin in the bag. I was able to eat the spring rolls and they were just okay. Definitely fresh ingredients I’ll give them that. I attempted to eat the Mac and cheese with my fingers and it literally tasted like straight coconut. 1/10 on that. And the salad went to waste because I had no way of eating it. Really need to reconsider their Togo order packaging because how do you expect people to eat your items if you don’t include utensils.
Very clean facility. The waiter was very knowledgeable about what they offered.

Recommended by the people at Succulent, the vegan taco stand at the Farmers Market (and their food is fantastic!), this place is a sit down restaurant and the food is a.m.a.z.i.n.g!!! Cauliflower bisque, kale Caesar salad - and cheesecake for dessert. Really, you need to find out for yourself - GO! Even my non-vegan friend says, “outstanding!”

I purchase food from this restaurant on a regular basis. Normally, when I order the OG Nachos with extra walnut meat, they put it in a 8 oz container . However, when I ordered the nachos this time I received my walnut meat in a 2oz container. When I spoke with the hostess about this matter she assumed that the servings were the same amount, but they are not because I order food from Avo on a consistent basis. The hostess was rude and wasn’t of much help assisting me. I will not be spending any more of my hard earned money at this establishment. Honestly, the workers are going to run it to the ground because they don’t have good customer service skills. They should really go to a pd training on how to be better at their job.

Avo absolutely exceeded every expectation for our wedding catering! We are still hearing compliments weeks later. Our non-vegan friends and family were genuinely blown away.
The presentation was absolutely beautiful and everything was delivered promptly and right on time. Communication from the team was perfect! As a bride, I had nothing to worry about on the big day and everything was seamless.
Avo helped make our day so special. We could not recommend them more for anyone looking for exceptional vegan catering (that will impress every guest, vegan or not!)
Avo in downtown Nashville truly impressed me! The kimchi rolls were fresh with just the right kick, the noodles were hearty and flavorful, and the vegan mac n’ cheese was incredibly creamy and satisfying. The atmosphere strikes a great balance — modern, warm, and welcoming — and the staff made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. It’s one of those places that makes healthy dining feel indulgent. Definitely a Nashville gem I’ll be revisiting soon!

On point. Delicious, creative, vegan food, awesome service - elevated but not stuffy (our Server's name was Fury), and a laid back, hip, not-trying-too-hard atmosphere. Overall a great experience!
