Quite disappointed. Their Cuban sandwich is NOT made with lechon. It's some sort of pork ham. Their lechon asado plate is more onions than meat. I have never had a worse "Cuban" place. There are absolutely no substitutions allowed of any kind which is not typical of any cafe or restaurant. The beef empanada was huge with about 1/4 filled with beef mix... the rest was air... pathetic. Flavors are ok... at best. I have eaten in dozens of real Cuban places in Miami, NYC, Orlando, Tampa, Chi-town, Louisville, etc. and this place is NOT one I'd recommend or go back to.
Such a friendly place and the food is fantastic . Unfortunately Mapco is turning that whole center into a giant gas station so another small business owner is getting run out . Thanks for serving this community for 20+ years . Your family is amazing .
The best Cuban food we've had since leaving South Florida.
Absolutely authentic and delicious. Now I can have my Cuban sandwich without having to go all the way to Miami!!!
Very authentic and great pricing for the quality and quantity of food. Got the cubano which was very filling but not heavy as expected.
Excellent service and great food
food is excellent! their media noche is my favorite, and i adore their sweet plantains. where else can you get a blackberry (mora) milkshake??? highly highly recommend!
The food here tastes very good. The cafe itself is very small and unfortunately due to COVID there are a few menu items like vaca frita and churrasco that are unavailable. It is a little more on the expensive side for Latin food, but the servings are large.
The menu is good and the food great. I've eaten here a few times and it never disappoints.
I love this little gem hidden in Nashville and I'm so very saddened to hear of them closing up coming soon, along with their sister restaurant Mamma Mia's. They are very good family oriented people that love to share their personal experiences with the rest of us thru food and culture. Banks bailed out the big corporations and left our precious small businesses hanging out to dry. This is the nightmare I was hoping I would wake up from. Please support this business for the remainder of their tenure, before all we have to look forward to is fast food chain restaurants.

About as close to grandma's home cooking as it gets in Nashville! Love love loooove!
This was one of the best Cuban restaurants outside of Miami. Since they reopened after Covid, like most restaurants, the portions have been reduced considerably. My cuban sandwich was 1/2 the size of the many I had there prior. Too bad i got it to go or i would have sent it back. See the pic and compare to older ones from there. Also, they discontinued their chimichurri sauce; one of the best I ever had. So sad.
A hidden gem, award-winning, with authentic cuban. I'll just keep it simple. Go there eat, enjoy and thank me later
Terrific Cuban food at a good price. So glad that we have a place like this in Nashville. Very friendly staff.
was looking forward to the shrimp tacos, cuban sandwich & fries, but was extremely disappointed. The tacos were tasteless and made with cheap tortillas that fell apart as soon as I picked it up. Everything they used i could have bought at Sam's cheaper than what I payed for it all.
