I’m an out of towner and The Lucky bastard saloon is always my favorite bar to go to when coming to Nashville. I’ve never had a bad experience till this last weekend. I ordered my friend and I a drink. When handed the receipt to pay I didn’t put the tip on there bc I planned to leave the tip in cash. Before ever even given the chance to get the cash out of my pocket the bartender started yelling at me and being very rude in front of everyone there. I’ve literally never visited a business and been talked to in such a way. Needless to say I didn’t leave the cash, finished my drink and walked out. I had a great night and spent my money somewhere else, where I also tipped. This was October 26th. Bartender was on the 2nd floor wearing a fallen angel costume. I’ve worked as a server before and understand very well that’s how they make a living. But never have I ever thought to be so rude and loud to someone. Given 3 stars bc I know one rude employee doesn’t make up the atmosphere of the bar as a whole, and I’ve had a fantastic time every other time I’ve visited.

Lucky Bastard Saloon is the place to be! The vibe is fantastic, and the staff is welcoming and attentive. Special shout out to the band Too Hot for Leather—they absolutely rocked the night and gave the atmosphere a full 5 stars! Their energy and performance took the experience to a whole new level. I can’t wait to go back for part 2 and enjoy another unforgettable night. Highly recommend this spot for a great time!

The atmosphere is nice and the prices are reasonable.
Came here this past weekend from Omaha and this was our favorite bar we stopped at in Nashville. The live music was great. The bartender, she was fantastic. The vibes at the bar were top notch.. will definitely be back whenever I’m back in Nashville!

Service is hit or miss. Been coming here for the last 5 years as I make my way thru the strip of bars. Never get limes with shots. Don’t stay long either bc of the band. Also, the band has been playing here for like 4 years and all they do is yap until they get $20 to play a song so go elsewhere if you want a great live music vibe and all around bartender service. I’ve never ordered food here so I don’t know how It is. Regardless, the band should be improved or replaced so it’s not thinning out at 12AM.
