My assumption is that they are severely understaffed. The whole place was dead at lunch time. After I was seated I was told they weren't even sure they had a cook that day. After letting me know that could in fact make lunch, the food wasn't very good. One of our orders was missing main ingredients and then came back cold when they attempted to fix it. The staff was at least nice and they did comp the cold meal.

We have dined at the Bar Louie in Bellevue on our three recent trips to Nashville. I have enjoyed their veggie Flatbreads They replaced my favorite one with a new version which was similar and also sounded good. Unfortunately, the cook was not familiar with the new version, as two of the toppings were missing. I didn't realize it until I had eaten some. When I brought it to the attention of our server, she offered to bring some on the side. As it did with the original order, it took a long time for the missing toppings to arrive. By this time, I was disgusted and asked to speak to a manager. She offered to make another one. I didn't feel like waiting a long time for another one. My husband had been finished eating for a considerable amount of time. She did finally offer to take it off the bill and took the remainder of the food away. (Company policy.)Also, we ordered water and a club soda. Both tasted awful. The club soda was the same awful tap water with fizz added.Needless to say, we will not be making a fourth visit.
