Very cool and eclectic spot for a couple drinks. Few blocks away from the craziness of Broadway so it’s a nice break. Service isn’t super friendly but that’s OK - we were just there to drink. Definitely check it out.

Great low key bar off the beaten path, went on a Friday night, great bartenders great drinks great music, great people, great atmosphere. Went back 2 nights later on a Sunday night and had a different bartender who was really arrogant and rude. Saw several people leave in frustration waiting for drinks, we also left as we couldn't get the bartenders attention while he was hitting on two girls at the end of the bar. This place is exactly the kind of bar that we love to go to, this one bartender ruined it for us and probably won't go back.

While visiting Nashville's downtown, we came upon this amazing tiny establishment. We felt right at home and it was less touristic and more local. Tacos are delicious, the beer list is strong, and the service is friendly.

Loved the atmosphere and drink quality. However I was drugged my first, only and last time in your establishment. Someone put an opioid in my drink. Popped for buprenorphine. I don't take drugs. Not even ibuprofen. Be careful everyone.

I was recently in Nashville for work. I found Bar Sovereign to be a great off Broadway place to go (near all the downtown hotels). I was by myself but I met friendly patrons both nights I was there. The staff were fun, quirky and engaging. THIS PLACE HAS AMAZING TACOS! I really enjoyed this place and hope to go back in next time I'm in Nashville.

Great low key place. Cozy ambiance. Much better than anywhere on Broadway. Variety of seating options. Easy to have conversations with people. The taco place inside the bar has some of the best street tacos I've ever had. I also highly recommend the corn off the cob.

As we did not eat, I cannot rate the food, although it is said that their food is very good.

We were staying at The Burnham across the street and stopped in to get a drink after seeing a concert at the Bridgestone Arena. Super shady place. Do NOT go there if you're a tourist. Staff and patrons were aggressive and rude. Lots of questionable activity in the parking lot throughout the night. Not worth your time.

Coolest bar we visited in Nashville. The website on food options was completely out of date, there were no Japanese options (ramen). The drinks were great, bartenders cool.
