the food is SO poorly seasoned…the greens are crunchy and flavorless. the chicken isn’t seasoned, just the batter and it’s only salt really. Mac and cheese was pitiful. only thing good was the fruit tea.

My husband ate here, he forgot to write a 5 star review. He said the food was amazing!

Mr. Barr , I've been a customer of yours for several years and it hurts to write this review but the food for my last 2 visits have been terrible. The macaroni and cheese , dressing were extremely sweet. Which took away from the flavor of what I had tasted in the past from your establishment. The sweet potatoes were overpowered by cinnamon and were not that sweet and tasted awful. When I first began coming to your restaurant the food was delicious! The Mac and cheese taste was superb, the sweet potatoes were great and the dressing was good. Not sure if you've changed cooks or ingredients but I was shocked to say the least. I wish you nothing but the best. But the food just wasn't good. I don't waste food this is the first I had to throw away. Take care and God bless.

We went there for lunch and it was delicious! I love any collards but theses were some of the best I’ve ever had. Super nice people and I recommend the bbq chicken- it’s fall-off-the-bone tender. The prices were reasonable (we shared a lunch special $17). Super clean and fun.

Rhe moment we walked in we felt at home. Very modest place with a great staff! The food was good. We loved it! Will return!

Food was excellent. Hot and right on time, me and my wife we dine in, great restaurant with great people.

Taking a picture won’t do justice for the food. It looked great, tasted bomb and a lot of options. Googled soul food and this restaurant popped up. 5 stars, highly recommend for good soul food!!
