Second time there and it was excellent. The sun choke cookie shavings over pear ice cream?? Over the top awesome.
Service was on point, very warm and inviting. Amazing scallops and spectacular dessert last night.
Fantastic experience with amazing food! We will definitely be back. Ginger pistachio dessert was delicious 😋
Elevated food with every course. Enough food to satisfy without overindulging. Small group setting. No complaints.
Very, very good, but not worth the $250 per person, Michelin star or not. Set in a hideaway, in a light industrial area, it has a tiny but spacious dining area hidden behind a sliding corrugated metal door with a large outer bar , any six seat interior bar. This is a prix fixe, full service, friendly, attentive dining experience. All the courses were great with novel tastes and textures, EXCEPT the Tri-tip, that was well tri-tip, disappointingly tough and incongruous. There is good parking nearby.

A truly exceptional culinary experience. From the rustic industrial surroundings and passage through an unassuming metal door to the record player spinning against a backdrop of vinyl, Bastion is unlike any other fine dining restaurant. The cocktails are thoughtfully crafted with unique flavors. The menu delivers a beautiful 7-course meal comprised from 4 different chef's contributions, each dish representing their individual culinary expertise. The setting is intimate which lends the opportunity to meet each chef on a personal level. The reservation is not easy to get, but absolutely worth the effort. We cannot wait to go back.
Fantastic experience. Great Michelin star food, wine pairing, and service. Setting was the perfect blend of hip, but also intimate. Highly recommend!
You go to Bastion for the high quality of food and service. The ambience just makes the evening worth the cost. It is our destination for special evenings.
Come ready to be blown away! I normally do not eat some of the foods that are offered, but the presentation alone is stunning, and the taste is so rich and fulfilling, it is like no other dining experience I have ever had. The staff is friendly and attentive, always looking to surprise and delight at every opportunity. If you do happen to find yourself on the picky side of eating, please allow yourself to be open to the experience offered by the team here, trusting them and their skill and talents over any preconceived notions of what you prefer, you will not be disappointed.

We absolutely loved our experience and truly enjoyed the meal. That said, there were a couple of small service details that stood out, particularly given the expectations of a Michelin-starred restaurant. We dined on New Year's Eve and, when making our reservation online, we also booked and prepaid for the wine pairing. When we were seated, the host explained that we could choose to add the wine pairing, unaware that it had already been selected and paid for. At this level, we would expect the team to be fully aware of the details of the reservation and to guide the experience accordingly, creating a seamless sense of being taken care of from the start. Similarly, at the end of the meal, we were presented with a bill that included two wine pairings, despite everything having been paid for in advance. We had to flag this and clarify the error. While these were minor issues, they did slightly detract from an otherwise wonderful evening. At a restaurant of this caliber, those small moments of anticipation and attention to detail make a meaningful difference in how elevated and effortless the experience feels. Overall, we very much enjoyed our visit and offer this feedback in the spirit of refinement rather than criticism.
First time visiting Bastion. It's in a more chill, quiet, neighborhood; considering it was NYE and all of Nashville was a buzz. Relaxing atmosphere, not too ”stuffy”. Welcoming ”vibe” with accommodating hosts. The food was delicious! The mussels were a hit at our table. Portion sizes were perfect as we didn't leave hungry nor uncomfortable full. Bartenders are highly skilled at creating beautiful, tasty beverages. Well worth the price! Loved how someone would change the record on the turntable so effortlessly that we never noticed a lull in the music. Tame Impala, L'impératice, Justice.... Great bands to listen to while enjoying our multi-course meal! To the entire staff at Bastion, two most outrageous thumbs up and a huge thank you for creating an incredibly memorable NYE!
A jewel of Nashville

The staff are incredible, the food is incredible, the entire experience was incredible. Hands down one of the best , if not the best, dining experiences I've ever had!
