The chef came out to greet us — such a personal touch!
Nachos were soooo skimpy last night. Hardly any meat, tons of dry plain chips & might have forgotten the chz. Brought out-of-towners specifically hyping the nachos and was disappointed
Generally love this place, the service and the vibe (and the restaurant side, my god)
Asking for more attention to detail from a place charging $15 a drink
I have been to 3 Michelin star restaurants and Bastion is as good or better than them!
This restaurant is a gem in Nashville. All these “new” Nashville $10 million build outs might look cool, but if I get the chance to eat at a “fancy” restaurant, you can find me @Bastion!
Special shout outs to Morgan, Erik, Noah, Sierra, Chef and Josh H. ! You guys are incredibly talented and I appreciate your skills!
Team Bastion, you are brilliant - congratulations to Josh & his team on constant excellence!
An unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. The tasting menu was a masterful journey of flavors, each course beautifully presented and thoughtfully paired with wines that elevated every bite. The creativity in the kitchen is matched by the impeccable service—knowledgeable, attentive, and never intrusive. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between sophisticated and welcoming. This is more than just a meal; it’s an experience worth savoring and sharing. A true gem for anyone who appreciates culinary artistry.
The tasting menu was excellent! My wife and I went to celebrate her birthday. She had a lovely time. We enjoyed trying foods that we don't normally eat prepared in ways we don't normally prepare them. I would've liked to have stopped at the little bar on our way out to try to some fine spirits, but another party occupied it the whole thing right before we finished our meal which was a let down. My wife's wine was delicious, while the one I ordered was a letdown. So, if you don't do the wine pairing, be selective.
Overall, we would go back for the food.
Great experience. Knowledgeable and attentive staff. Loved the vinyl bar ambience. Food and wine pairings were well done. Off the beaten track, but we'll worth it.
Leaving 1 star just because of the lack of communication with their schedule. We were visiting from out of town for the holidays and checked both website and social media to make sure they were open. We took an uber, made our way to the bar just to find out they were closed (12/26). I wish they had updated that info on their site or social media to avoid people coming all the way here for nothing.
We’ll try them again next time but hoping this helps the business for future. As a consumer, we were really upset. Thank you!
Another amazing dinner experience at one of our favorite Nashville restaurant!

What a wonderful experience Bastion was!
From start to finish, everyone you interact with is a professional in their field, and it shows. Service is warm and familiar, the space is cozy, yet refined, and the food is elegantly presented and wonderful.
The passion and technical skill of the chefs is readily apparent, from their description of each course, to the bites you take that elude expectations in the best way possible.
I left last night, wishing I had another reservation for tonight. That's a rare occurrence for me.
This restaurant is most certainly worth your time, money, and attention, and I will be sure to return whenever I am in town. Well done!

WANT TO GO ON AMAZONING FOOD ADVENTURE! Of all the restaurants across the world, this place has moved to the top 3 we ever enjoy . First, the restaurant itself is an old 1900 warehouse with the old plaster scrap off the walls . Kinda reminded me of an old speak easy kinda place . They only seat 24 people at the restaurant side, so you have to make reservations. I would suggest during the weekdays because parking is a beast. We parked a block away, but it was worth every step. Service is excellent from the time you walk in till you hit the door back to your world . Chris, the manager, and his team do an unbelievable job taking care of you . It's such a relaxing experience. I could talk pages about the food, but a picture is worth a thousand words. Please take time and experience what everyone is talking about thru our pictures. Truly ADVENTURE if you love new tastes and not steak and potatoes meal which anyone can put out . If you have that special occasion for someone and share the experience together, this dining will last a lifetime.
Dietary restrictions: They will ask you upfront if there and restrictions they need to know about .
Parking: We had to park a block away but worth every step. Parking was reasonable priced .
