Fun atmosphere, but food and drink are pretty pricey, especially for a suburban mall location. The space is very well done and our server was great, but the lack of paper menus really detracts from the authentic feel the owners are going for. At this price point, you should provide paper menus without asking. Flavors were mostly on point, but portions were small for the price. Dim lighting until bright lights were turned on promptly at closing time like a bar, which might be more understandable if closing time weren’t so early. Not very representative of German hospitality in my experience. Several food items in the shop area were past their expiration date. German food and restaurants are rare in the area, so while the novelty is fun, the overall experience and value just don’t quite hit the mark.

No better place in Nashville for a currywurst, schnitzel, or German beer. I stop in for a Bitburger any time I visit Opry Mills (or a Glühwein around Christmas), and make sure to visit for every Oktoberfest.

The Food was great, glad we stayed! There weren't that many people so we thought we'd get to eat quickly but after more than 10 minutes we were yet to be seen after being seated. We were about to leave until a waitress named Madeline saw us, gave us great recommendations and took care of us. She was the only reason we did not leave, not that we don't like the place as we'd eaten here before and loved the food. Madeline gave us excellent service and made sure our food was how we liked it, frequently checked in with us and quickly saw us off when we were ready to leave.

Awesome unexpected German beer /food destination spot for me and my husband. The brats were flavorful and the bread was fresh and flavorful. The reuben had high quality corned beef. German potato salad made fresh and authentic. Perfect balance of spices.

Our tour group went there last week. Place was cute. We were station in Germany and trust me that was not good German food. It was a buffet that served pork and chicken schnitzel… horrible and dry. Next mashed potatoes ( why not german potatoes). No bratwurst or german bread! Black Forest cake was delicious.

Food tasted like it was all previously frozen and commercially made. The music playing in the background was pop music and had nothing to do with being German. Didn't like being forced to sit with others. Had to wait 10 mins for a memu because the waitress said they don't have enough. Very disappointing experience. It was more like cheap fast food vs a nice dining restaurant. Downgraded from a 2 star to one star after reading the response from the business. It was American pop music in the background! Don't be cheap, buy a menu for each group of guest. Validate a guest concerns, don't try to be right and admit things could be better and you could make improvements by listening to and respecting concerns made.
