Really fun place, but the bouncer checking IDs really soured my initial impressions of the place. He was standing in a spot that would not have suggested he was there to check IDs, nor was he dressed in a way that made it obvious he worked there—he looked like anyone else that would’ve been a customer. He grabbed my arm and rudely accosted me for walking by him, but we were just following other people into the establishment that he didn’t stop ahead of us. He then called me “honey” which from male to male is typically seen as quite rude. My entire interaction with him was very off-putting and other people who witnessed it commented to me how weird, rude, and aggressive it was.

Good vibe, dueling pianos, beautiful songs - they play what you order. Dance area available. Pretty huge place. If you get tired of romantic vibe and piano you can grab your drinks and go upstairs for country and dancing - other 2 floors present fun setup as well

I’ve been to Nashville several times with friends and tried all the bars on Broadway, but we’ve never had a night as great as the one at the Bayou.
We were disappointed when the FGL bar closed, so we decided to check out the Lainey Wilson Bar to see the difference. We went downstairs to use the restroom and discovered this place… and we ended up staying for the rest of the night, and even the next day, because the musicians were so talented and the experience was incredible.
Going from DMX to Elton John to Garth Brooks: Nathan, Kyra, Geoff, and the man with the long beard are just amazing!!!

Went there Sunday evening 10-19. The music was very good. Service was non existent. We were sitting along the wall between the bars. No wait staff ever came, had to line up at the bar to order a drink. What I don't understand is why a place that makes it's money selling drinks doesn't make it easy to order drinks. Seems like they are missing opportunities to make money and keep people happier

What a fun experience! We came back two nights in a row it was such a good time! Duelling pianos is a favourite of mine and this did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and energy!
