Really fun place, but the bouncer checking IDs really soured my initial impressions of the place. He was standing in a spot that would not have suggested he was there to check IDs, nor was he dressed in a way that made it obvious he worked there—he looked like anyone else that would’ve been a customer. Good vibe, dueling pianos, beautiful songs - they play what you order. Dance area available. Pretty huge place. If you get tired of romantic vibe and piano you can grab your drinks and go upstairs for country and dancing - other 2 floors present fun setup as well
I’ve been to Nashville several times with friends and tried all the bars on Broadway, but we’ve never had a night as great as the one at the Bayou.
We were disappointed when the FGL bar closed, so we decided to check out the Lainey Wilson Bar to see the difference. We went downstairs to use the restroom and discovered this place… and we ended up staying for the rest of the night, and even the next day, because the musicians were so talented and the experience...
