I'm writing this review because I am extremely disappointed in the actions of beginner's Luck crew. I have been a customer since they did pop-ups in East Nashville. I tried their new restaurant Little Ricky's and it was disappointing to say the least. I tried to leave some constructive criticism that was not rude in any way but they still proceeded to block me from both Instagram accounts. I've never been blocked by a establishment in my life. I really enjoyed their food at beginner's luck but this experience has put a bad taste in my mouth. I hope that this can be a learning experience for them in the future.

I ordered this morning Dirty teddy and matcha lemonade and I got one regular coffee and a hot matcha something. I tried to contact the restaurant and no response! Uber didn’t refund since was a pick up order. So basically I lost my money!!!!

The sandwiches are absolutely DELICIOUS, and the coffee is SOOO GOOD! Beginner’s Luck is now one of my favorite breakfast and lunch places in Nashville!

i ordered from here for the first time this morning after eyeing it on uber eats for a while. the reviews were good so i ordered several things, intending to have the leftovers for lunch/tomorrow’s breakfast.
my frustration is how oil-laden everything tastes. i now have food that i don’t particularly want to eat later because everything was greasy (in an unwelcome way).
the french toast sticks had great texture and flavor on the outside, but biting into them tasted like oil.
i got the colorado cowboy sandwich which has chorizo, so i expected grease from the sausage since i enjoy cooking and have worked with chorizo before. again, it was greasy without balance which ultimately just feels heavy and lacking any brightness.
the open on sunday chicken sandwich was the best thing i received. likely because i expected it to taste fried and the pickles + sauce gave it some contrast at least.
the saltines were tasty, but again, greasy. it makes sense that saltines would absorb the oil but biting into a frying oil flavored cracker isn’t something i’m interested in doing again.
i also got the hash brown casserole to try and it was dry (funny enough). i hate it when i can say this about a small business, but the hash brown casserole at cracker barrel is so much tastier.
i really wanted to love it, but i’m sharing the review i wish i had read before i ended up with $50 of oily food i won’t be able to stomach.

My kids didn't like the elephant ear French toast; it was a bit greasy. Everything else was really yummy. The bacon and collard green handie was tasty but needed a sauce (sauce was left out of the bag). Hubby loved the Gambler and the pineapple casserole is a must have!

Wow, food came out in 10 minutes the casserole and the gambler was so good. I actually hate eggs but I smashed this sandwich down, the sauce is so good. No complaints…..
Couldn’t even leave the place to eat if I was so excited

You eat under a freeway. Horrendous atmosphere and pretty gross. The breakfast sandwich is McDonald’s level and you’ll pay $15 for a lazy sandwich. The coffee is expensive but solid. I would avoid coming here. Just go grab some McDonald’s and save yourself money.

It was a confusing experience. The lattes were quite good (no artificial taste, some effort was put into them), but the food was really bad (least amount of effort imaginable). The breakfast sandwich had sesame seed hamburger bun, and all the other ingredients in it tasted heated from frozen. Same with the tots.Service-wise, a sauce was missing, but no big deal. I paid extra for it, so I went back in to get it, but she acted like she was doing me a favor. This isn’t the first time I had subpar food after reading good reviews in Nashville, but the sesame bun, the lead culprit of the worst breakfast sandwich ever created, motivated me to leave a review.
No atmosphere, it’s basically a lobby.but great made to order sandwiches. Quick service and everything looked like the photos. Would recommend for take out breakfast.

Food was good until they switched all of their breakfast sandwiches to being on a sesame seed bun. Gross! I thought they ran out of their seedless buns but now it looks like every menu item is updated to reflect the monstrosity I received last weekend. Such a disappointment. I won’t be back. Get rid of the seeds! I don’t want a hamburger bun for breakfast. Not to mention, you can tell it was a cost-motivated decision on their behalf because the quality and taste of the replacement is noticeable. The bun fell apart halfway through and tasted terrible.

Some of the best quick food I've ever had!!!! 10/10 recommend. We're never disappointed and have had beginners luck at least 7 times since discovering it.

One of my goto breakfast orders. The Dirty Teddy is the best latte in town. I always suggest getting the cheesy tots with the honey mustard jalapeño aïoli. You can get these guys quickly on Uber eats quality quality quality.

Okay so not to be dramatic but I would eat the meal I just ordered every single day until it made me sick. I had the rusty, the hash brown casserole, and the dirty teddy. The rusty has all the ingredients of a classic breakfast sandwich but with a twist. It comes on a soft toasted bun, and the slight sweetness of the maple sausage perfectly offsets the savory. Get the hash brown casserole. Trust me. Just do it. I wish had gotten 12oz of it instead of 6. SO good. And the dirty teddy is absurdly unique. Puts most lattes I’ve had to shame. Bravo. These guys are about to blow up I just know it.
Fantastic breakfast!!
