We met the owner, Pedro, who is focused on making an authentic Naples style wood fired pizza using quality ingredients imported from Italy. He succeeded. Our son started this pizzeria in 2011, he received a lot of recognition in major national and local media. His pizza was incredible. One of my favorite pizza places in Nashville. The brick oven gives the crust a great smokey flavor. I would describe the crust as New York style. I recommend the Margherita pizza. One pizza makes a great lunch.
This legitimately is the best damn pizza I’ve had in Nashville. My literal first thought on the first bite was, “This tastes like Italy.” So good! It’s a humble little kiosk, but don’t let its unassuming nature fool you. We had the boscaiola pizza — they shave the fresh prosciutto di Parma on site, use San Marzano tomato sauce, the best Italian flour and such tasty cheese. I will absolutely be back for more.
