I wanted to like it here so badly but it just isn’t worth the price and management was very unprofessional to her staff. Make the drive to Arrington, it’s worth it.
We LOVEEE the experience!!! Everything is so beautiful and we were lucky because we had a kinda private service lol our guide was amazing, super funny, she knows a lot!! We did wine, bourbon and food pairing. I’m not a big fan of bourbon and those were HOT?, but i got it because of my husband, but the wine was fire!!!
Absolutely loved my 1 pm tour of house . The guide was so nice and knowledgeable. The grounds are so beautiful. And I love the gift shop !
Lunch from the FoxRun was awesome, fresh chicken salad on croissants with local beers on a beautiful day!
Cool history and grounds. Recommend the wine and food pairing tasting. The Bourbon is great as well.
We toured the grounds and mansion first. Me and my out of town guest enjoyed learning the history of the mansion. We were slightly disappointed as the guide, who was knowledgeable and kind, reminded us that we were a larger than usual group. We had very little time to look around and stuffed in like sardines. The tasting room was nice but very small. Again, a large group in a tiny space 1/2 of the tour had to stand in the back while tasting the wines, making the experience uncomfortable. We were then rushed and asked to give our glasses back to be washed for the next guests. I’ve been to many wineries across the south and this was not a typical one. They did not have charcuterie to buy in the same area as the wines so we could do that. There are no actual vines on the property that you can see. The wines were however delicious which makes it more disappointing. We also bought 6 bottles of wine and were told that we could not have an empty box to bring with us. Instead we’re charged $3.50 per bubble wrap sleeve, per bottle to put in a bag so they didn’t break. The entire thing was rush rush rush.
definitely not worth it. A small space, a house that is not a mansion. Tasting in disposable glasses is minimal for the cheapest wines. It's not a tasting. And just a mini test. Even spending 75.00 dollars for three people, we were unable to access several areas. Detail is not winery. There are no visits to the barrels. You should learn from LAKERIDGE WINERY & VINEYARDS ( free tasting ) in Clermont! I do not recommend ! Feeling of losing money.
We visited today and were totally disappointed. We paid $24.00 each for the wine tasting and grounds pass. During the wine tasting we were herded into a very small room where they had us 6 rows deep. We were handed a wine glass in which we received 4 one ounce pours of wines of their choosing. Only one of which I would have picked out of their selection of wines. The entire tasting lasted approximately 6 minutes at which time they collected the wine glasses and told us to explore the grounds. The website says they have a restaurant that isn't even open yet. They had very costly pre-made packages of charcuterie that were available but not what the website promised. We will not return and I would recommend everyone save your money.
Nicely done! Lovely grounds with a real feel for how things would have been in the time Belle Meade was in its prime.
Well maintained. Beautiful grounds and mansion. Unique and interesting wines. Nice venue under the magnolias Live music ???

Really nice historic place , a lot of local history
I set up a wine and small bites pairing as apart of my mother's 60th birthday celebration. I wouldn't be able to partake in the wine tasting due to pregnancy but was told I still had to pay the full price as I would be apart of the experience and having the small bites. I was told there were other options such as lemonade or water available. Unfortunately it seemed just water was available and nothing else was offered or mentioned. I had to excuse myself and run to the little shop to purchase my own lemonade so on top of paying full price for a tasting I then had to purchase my own drink. Our sommelier was knowledgeable and sweet and the small bites were tasty. I just wish it was a bit more accommodating to those who can't participate in the wine tasting but still like to be apart of the group.
The grounds are nice but it was a total reap off. We bought tickets for wine tasting for two $50 and barely got enough wine to get our tongues wet. We tasted only four wines and didn’t get a glass of wine of the favorite tasting as a complementary. Other wineries do provide a complimentary glass of wine as the favorite but not this place. The staff was quick to pour barely to taste and move people. The bottle of wine goes for $39, so it is way cheaper to get the bottle of wine. Avoid the wine tasting unless you wanna get reaped off!
Way overpriced and rushed. The wine was marginal, nothing to get excited about and definitely not worth the price. The grounds at Belle Meade were gorgeous.
Chose to do the wine/bourbon and for experience. Maddi made this experience even better. The food was excellent and paired beautifully with the wine and bourbon. Made it taste even better. We had a great time and the venue room this particular tasting is in is breathtaking. Thanks yall for making my mom's birthday great.
