The bagels are soft and delicious. The Zatar bagel was very flavorful, and so was the vegan veggie cream cheese. I loved it.

Benji's has been a staple in my breakfast rotation for a while now. There is parking around back which is a plus. They can get a bit of a line especially on the weekends, but it moves at a moderate pace. Very cute, café style. I almost always take it to go, but there is a good amount of indoor seating as well as a small area people usually sit and eat out in front. Only advice would be to be prepared for certain bagels to not be available towards that last hour of the day.
My go to is the rise and shine with bacon on a plain or everything bagel, the chili crunch cream cheese is my favorite spread. I don’t do coffee but sometimes I get their chai tea with milk and it’s good. Check em out.

Decent bagels, but this restaurant needs to cut down on their waste, especially when dining in

I'm not NYorker but I very much enjoyed the bagel and service. I got the lox bagel with the cheddar jalapeno and a mocha coffee. Bagel was very generous, I definitely had some left for later in the day. Coffee was very good as well and service was fast even though they were busy. Thank you guys!

Be kind to others!

I’ve never eaten at Benji’s Bagels and never will, after their company truck just cut me off and then proceeded to drive at least 90mph in a construction zone. So unsafe! So rude!

I’m from NY, and this bagel is the real deal. The craft bagel sandwiches are also terrific. Try the Southerner (Fried Green Tomato sandwich) for an outstanding balance of components. You can taste the passion and dedication, and if that wasn’t enough, the price is very fair… Nashville gets a winner with these guys.

Fantastic bagels! Huge variety of bagels, smears, and sandwiches. You can’t go wrong with any option. The owner took our orders and talked to us and was very friendly and interested in getting to know us. We are visiting from out of town and this will be one of our favorite spots from the trip!

The bagel sandwiches at Benji's are phenomenal. I love the Rise and Shine and the New Yorker. I have dined in and taken out on numerous occasions and never been disappointed by my order.

What a wonderful place near our home. Tried their bagels and coffee today. As someone who loves bagels, this was just fantastic and the people running the place are super friendly. Got a rosemary salt and cheddar bagel- both very good and fresh. They have a variety of cream cheese options, we took the scallion and jalapeno.

Highly recommend Benjis to unwind with a bagel and coffee

Coffee was 5/5.

My poppy seed bagel with cream cheese. Was also awesome. Surprised getting cream cheese cost an additional $2.75 but oh well it was great.

Only gripe was the sausage egg and cheese bagel I got. Took a bite and was instantly not a fan. I usually house any and all breakfast sandwiches. Wish I got the bacon because im sure it would have been awesome. The sausage patty was the size of a burger patty. And genuinely couldn’t tell if it was a vegan patty so I didn’t even finish that bite. There will never be a time I’ll toss a bagel but this was the only time. Just make sure if you get a breakfast sandwich you know which protein you’d prefer. I always go sausage but I wouldn’t with the size of the patty. Again not sure if it was a vegan patty because something was off.

Only writing this to save someone else if they’d be in the same boat.

3/5 overall because the coffee and poppy seed cream cheese bagel were awesome!

I absolutely love Benji’s and believe it’s one of the best bagels in Nashville! Ive been a few times and have had a great experience every single time. I love all of their bagels and schmears - but their regular breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheddar is my favorite. They also have really great iced coffee - not too bitter but rather has the right amount of sweetness. The line can sometimes get long, but I noticed that a LOT of people ordered ahead for pickup. They have an area that was packed with to-go orders!
