We recently visited Beyond The Edge on an early spring day as we were looking for somewhere with a patio to enjoy the warm weather. We were sat next to one of the closed garage doors, a few were open but ours was not. After sitting there for awhile we asked our server if it was possible to open our door as I was sitting right next to the latch. She let the table next to us know, and they agreed to having it open, and I pretty easily opened the door and that was that. A few minutes later the bar tender, Kasie, came storming over and without even introducing herself very rudely went on a tangent about “that’s not how that works here, you need to ask permission, etc.” I informed Kasie that we had in fact been given permission from our server. She then tried to back peddle with some explanation about how it is for our safety, as she repeated multiple times, and now seemed to be frustrated we had asked for permission? She then proceeded to go to our server and chastise her. Overall, the food was okay and our server was great but Kasie absolutely ruined our entire experience and as a semi frequent customer here over the last 10 years I do not plan on taking my money here again. I’ve worked in many customer service jobs/restaurants and I would never dream of approaching a table with that attitude and then getting angrier when I realized I was in the wrong. It seemed like the twilight zone actually to be spoken to like that by an employee. I would assume this is not the first time Kasie has spoken to customers in this manner. It definitely takes away from what is supposed to be a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone, including the LGBTQ community.

Here for St. Pats day. Staff was excellent! No long wait time for drinks. Our waitress did a great job with how busy it was. Everyone was friendly. 10/10 recommend to anyone traveling to Nashville! Very reasonably priced!

We've been coming here for years and we love this place. We live in Tennessee but we were born and raised in Chicago and this is just like a Chi town neighborhood bar. Everyone is friendly, food is awesome, and atmosphere is so fun. We've watched Cubs and Bears games here and had a blast. Probably our favorite East Nashville bar!!!

A sports bar that has everything...multi TV's, pool table, darts, a lot of atmosphere, great hot food, and great service. We'll be back.
This is always a good late night food stop when you been going to the bars in the area and need a bite of something. Food is good and comes out quick.Atmosphere is always cool except when I went the other night there was this annoying drunk girl that screeched at the top of her lungs every few minutes so I only gave them 4 stars this visit lol.
We found this bar when we drove to Five Points, east of Nashville. Cliff was the bartender that day. Friendly, great service. We played pool, had few beers, and ordered nachos. We ended up returning a couple more times before we left Nashville.

If visiting Nashville or if you live in Nashville this is a must go to bar. Great food and drinks and friendly staff and patrons..we are very happy we found this place..thank you for your friendly service Cliff..wish we lived closer..this would be our regular hangout spot

Came in for the first time ever sat at the bar right infront of the male bartender. The bartender sees me sit down and doesn't say a word. A random guy came up behind me while I was already seated at the bar. The bartender takes the guys order sitting next to me looks at me and ignores me then proceeds to grab the guys behind me order! He then grabs the guys beer comes back and ignores me a 3RD TIME! He then proceeds to check on the other side of the bar then when he realizes they didn't need anything he starts acting like he's cleaning cups... Worse customer service ever!
