I want to preface by saying our experience was not negative. We just felt as if we needed to make a PSA. When walking into the “hidden”, or hard to find, restaurant you are greeted with a sign. The sign instructs you to seat yourself and to order with a QR code. The sign also says a mandatory 20% gratuity is added to EVERY check. We are tippers so not an issue. With that being said everything is pretty much self serve. You order through a QR code, our “server” brought us glasses of water and that is about it. We order through a QR code order our alcoholic beverages at the bar, batch cocktails btw, and no soda options that I am aware of. After the first introduction to our server, she was not seen again. Food was good but, definitely not a culinary experience imo. Menu was small, 3 options for entrees, regular ramen, garlic, and spicy. Definitely not a negative experience, just a surprising one.

The chashu was mediocre at best and the overall ramen very underwhelming for the price. I’d been wanting to try here for sooo long and was really excited to try it. It may have been an off day.

Honest review No BS

It was alright for a ramen and beer brewery.

Food was expensive and average for what you get. they do not have a server period. No fountain drinks only canned. Dumplings you only get 4 so 3$ a piece and they are already in the dipping sauce. The ramen you only get one piece of meat if lucky two, and not much noodles for price.

Auto gratuity 20%

They however have a patio for dogs and quick food if you are in a rush.

Ordered
2 ramen
Dumplings
Coke & sprite

There's a mandatory 20 percent service fee, and they ask for tip BEFORE any type of service. ??? Food was okay, ramen soup on the salty side but I am full after the meal

I was in town and I wanted something different than the normal and they did not disappoint!

Service was great, food was amazing. I don’t normally finish my ramen and I ate everything!! I will definitely be back when I’m back in town

Overpriced and under served. Ramen is good but nothing special. Bartender greeted me with “que paso” because I’m not white I assume. Would not go out of my way to eat ramen here; plenty of other places in town

Best Ramen we’ve ever had. And we’ve had ramen in seattle where they have a strong Asian community, culture, food and ramen. I tried the garlic ramen and it was so good. The service was impeccable, we even got a bonus dessert. Some kind of mochi style butter cake. Loved that too! It wasn’t too sweet or heavy. Absolute a bliss point for a dessert.

I stopped here after my first triathlon last year because when you finish something like that, you want to eat, right? The ramen was delicious, a little spicy, but a great post-triathlon option.

While the food is good, service is terrible and this business practices shady tactics.

Food itself is fine, but on all orders there is a mandatory 20% service charge. And the service is nonexistent. They gave us bottles of water and never checked on us once. Even at checkout, they ask for MORE tip. Scummy business with bad tactics.

Also do not get the mochi dessert. The “cake” portion is premade and stale. And the quantity is laughable. For $11 after mandatory tip and tax, it is exactly 2 small bites of one of the worst desserts.

This is the best ramen in Nashville. I keep coming back for two reasons. The quality of the ramen and the rotating side dishes that they serve. They’re constantly bringing something new to the menu while keeping all the favorites. Tonight I had the soft shell crab which was a great addition to the menu. The miso tonkotsu has always been my favorite and I’ll keep coming back
