We had an incredible experience at the Black Rabbit. Our reservation was at 7:30 so the live band wasn't playing yet, but the music playing throughout the restaurant was amazing and set a great vibe. We loved the feel of the restaurant from the minute we walked in. Alison was our server and she was incredible. She was really attentive, kind, and took extra care with my allergy. She even took a picture for our group as we were having a girls night! We also had a sweet interaction with the table next to us, who happily shared recommendations for our time in Nashville as we are from out of time. It was a testament to the amazing and generous people that this restaurant brings in. We could tell they were regulars and love this place too. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible. All the cocktails had unique flavors and were so refreshing. My friends and I split the smoked Mac and cheese, which we talked about for the rest of the weekend because it was so good. We each ordered our own meals of tri top steak, pork chop, and gnocchi with Brussels sprouts, and we couldn't help but share our food with each other because it was so tasty. My friends couldn't stop complimenting me on choosing this restaurant and I'm so happy we came here before heading out for a ghost tour! Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional people. Next time I'm in the area I will be back

The heirloom tomato martini is a must- even if you don't like tomatoes or martinis! And, Black Rabbit makes one of the best crab cakes I've ever eaten.

Our overall experience was fantastic! Highly recommend for a great evening out in Nashville!

Amazing, as always!! Food is so good and it's definitely the best happy hour in Nashville!

The worst experience ever. Arrived and told our table was not ready. Waited 45 minutes and told to sit at the bar at a table near the front door, not a part of the formal restaurant. When we questioned the table choice, the server was rude. We left. Avoid this place.

I booked the Black Rabbit before our trip to Nashville. It was a little bit of a walk from downtown but it was so worth it. The crabcake was excellent and the Trout was delish. Overall we had a great dining experience and highly recommend.

Best meal we had in the city! All to the food was great. We were near the kitchen and saw all the other dishes coming out we didn't order and everything looked amazing

I thought that there would be more history associated with the building. It's actually brother small and we were set right up front. The food was not as good as I had hoped for. It's definitely beautiful and definitely edible but the steak wasn't cooked just right and the old fashions were way heavy on the bitters. For the price I think I just expected a little more.

We loved our anniversary dinner at Black Rabbit. Excellent service. Fantastic food. Loved watching the kitchen was fun - so professional and efficient. We would come back again and again!

The food was amazing and so delicious. It was interesting to watch them churn out the food so quickly and efficiently in a small kitchen for the size of the restaurant.

Went on birthday celebration. Drinks great. The interior great. But the food-wow it was so bad. 4 dishes ordered-2 fish dishes and two elk dishes. The cook was totally off. One elk cooked some what right the other totally over done. The fish- one cooked right and one raw. Sent the fish back and the second dish came back raw. By the time the third dish came back we had all finished our meal. Sides-the squash in the squash risotto wasn't cooked enough. The mushrooms weren't cooked. They have problems with consistency that must be addressed for the to be successful. Also when presenting them with these problems the owner seemed like she didn't want to hear the issues and even through our whole experience was honestly pretty terrible she only offering offered to comp the fish dish.

Great happy hour prices. Great service with Mat-Hollisen. Enjoyed alley experience. Needs better bar stools.

Great spot! My only complaint is the sourdough was greasy and hard. Everything else was very good!

What a hidden gem. Every time you visit Nashville, you must go there. The house band, Lydia Brittan & The Royal Family are above and beyond anything you’ve heard before. Super talented, classy and a real enjoyment to watch and listen. The restaurant is quaint but very welcoming. Staff is always great and the menu is, well, I’ll say different. Don’t get me wrong, great, but still different. I got one word for you, Spam ! Yep, that’s right. But hey, DO NOT KNOCK IT TILL YOU TRY IT. I’m dead serious. They do it several different ways. Seasoned just right with some great side items and you will not be disappointed. You have my word. Now, they won’t believe you but, then you gotta go tell people how good the Spam was at this awesome little place in Nashville that had one of the best bands you’ve ever heard. You’ll never change my mind about anything I’ve said here. But if you do go, I will say this,
you’re welcome.
