Exploring Nashville and came across Printers Alley. Noticed an interesting heart mural! Walked over and it was a restaurant- Black Rabbit. Looked up reviews on Yelp and Google- great reviews! Made reservations for dinner! We had the best seats in the restaurant! We were seated at the "Chef's Table"- front row seat to the open kitchen! Highest compliments to the Chef and Kitchen Brigade!! Cooking artistry in motion! It was like I was watching an awesome cooking show!! Loved the freshly baked sour dough bread! Cesar salad perfectly dressed! Absolutely love my scallops! Tender and flavorful! Hubby enjoyed the pork chop! Cheesecake was the perfect sweet treat! Loved my Dress to Kill cocktail! Our Server Jennifer S. was exceptional! Knew the menu well, answered questions and made recommendations. She checked in on us! Friendly and helpful. There was live music starting at 8pm! Great ambiance! Love the heart mural- "Embrace Life, Embrace Love, Embrace Each Other" ‼ love this ! Overall- a wonderful dinning experience! Fantastic cuisine and service! Thank you!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Nashville!!

From the moment we entered I knew this would be a special experience. Perfect for an intimate meal or date night. My girlfriends and I were sat by the musicians and we enjoyed a lovely evening in this moody dimly lit spot. We ordered cocktails, the sourdough bread app and then main courses. The service was great, simple and not fussy. I got the rigatoni ragu, my friends got the shrimp and lentils and the half chicken. We all shared and every dish was special in its own way. This is the way I love to dine. Simple meals with great flavors and a cool ambiance.

OMG talk about some creative food! I am a foodie and the flavor combinations at this place are mind blowing. Ambiance is super quaint and cozy. Must try is the sourdough bread. Made in house and then smoked in their wood oven and served with a delicious Parmesan butter. Never had this smoky, salty, earthy sourdough combo before and it was delicious! Service was awesome too! Great waiter who loved his job. Fun time and great creative drinks too!!

Phenomenal dishes Loved the atmosphere and our server was very experienced. Could of licked the plate clean, the fish was so well put together..I don't think I've ever had a fish entree that exceptionally constructed.

The service was amazing! The food menu is limited but changes often. The portions are small, and the drink prices keep rising. Come on Nashville, $16 for a drink and their pour was not significant. How can an average person enjoy a night out without dumping $200-300? NYC is less expensive than Nashville and Black Rabbit was right up there with their prices. If you go Fri/Sat evening, they do always have some really good live music. If I could make a suggestion, add more menu options, increase portion size and lower your drink prices. Thank you.

I really like decor and vibe inside - a bit rustic, a bit relaxed but upscale, something you might find in New York City.The food was good, but at fine dining establishments, I need to be dazzled by the food and want to crave their food to come back again. Everything was good, staff, service, menu selection, food.Also, since this is in downtown, there’s no parking, we took an Uber there. You can always find paid parking around.I was underwhelmed by the dessert - rum baba cake. It was too dry and sweet. Cocktails were good - buttered up was a warm drink, perfect for winters. All the sides and entree’s were good.My favorite was sourdough. It was delicious.The place holds a special place in my heart because I celebrated something important with someone special here.

Stopped in drinks & snacks before show at Ryman. Got seats at bar and ordered house Old Fashioned. Menu is extremely limited imho but we ordered smoked cheese/crackers and a small plate of tuna w cherry sauce. Cheese & crackers were totally uninspired and could have been Philly brand at best. Tuna was ok but kind of a steak cut but sauce was good. The atmosphere was great but unimpressed with our limited sample of good. The servers and staff were all really nice though.

You don’t feel like you are in the business direct of Nashville. The vibe in this place is amazing. The service is 5⭐️ from the moment you walk in to the Black Rabbit. The rabbit rolls are incredible. Really any of their bread is a must order. The cherry glazed tuna was a stat in itself. We complimented it with the spiced tomato polenta which was very nice.For our mains, we had the half roast chicken and the ribeye. The chicken is one you’d ask for as your last meal. Tommy’s attention to detail is incredible. He was not happy with our steak and had it redone. It gave us more time with the chicken and the steak was worth the wait. The flavor the wood fire gives it is one of the best flavors ever. If you haven’t been here you need to try it for date night.Bonus: the live music is very good and not an intrusion to your dinner experience.
