Fantastic location. The bartender, James, was excellent; he was really kind, accommodating, and competent. I was able to finish my order before the closing time. As a customer, I never felt hurried or irrelevant. Ignore the whiny, disrespectful, and entitled Southwest workers. The kitchen crew was also excellent. Strongly suggested

This restaurant is an amazing airport area gem. I stumbled on to it during a work trip and keep coming to Hotel Preston for Blackwood when I’m in town. Check out the bar and tell James hello. Best bartender in town.

Great location. James the bartender was fantastic, super friendly, helpful, and professional. Managed to squeeze my order in nearing closing time. Never felt rushed or unimportant as a customer. Ignore the complaining, rude, entitled Southwest employees. Kitchen staff was also solid. Highly recommend

The burgers were definitely not that great we ended up getting the impossible burger and the Blackwood cheeseburger. The burgers didn't to us seem fresh, it was very dry and had a taste like you would get a sporting goods event and was burnt. We didnt have time to ask for them to remake it so we ate whats been given to us. The french fries were also not freshly made because you can taste how dried inside was it wasn't moist. There was hardly anybody in that place, and it took us almost 15 to 20 minutes to finally get served and putting in the order. Later, I find out that they have a new chef and he is basically needing to revamp the menu, so that tells me that the items they had wasn't that great. I saw the sky order a Philly cheesesteak and that to me also looked like it was dry. In my opinion I would probably recommend another place if you can go. On the menu it says if you order a burger you get either a side of fries or salad. And the impossible Burger where it says what's in the burger It also says it comes with fries, so I asked our server so if this comes with fries do I get the salad because that will be a side, because it says the fries is already included. He said no 🙄.

Caution- major renovation taking place! I can’t help but think the high rating of this hotel restaurant has been highly impacted by MAJOR renovation. One server/bartender and (she said) one cook in kitchen. Food was just ok- not 4.8 rating. Sad we traveled from our hotel to this one based on high reviews.

The food was FYE!! We ordered an omelet and it came with potatoes, fruit and toast. Everything was delicious! The fruit was fresh. The potatoes were hot and crispy. 10 out of 10! The server Leon was also amazing!! He was very pleasant and friendly. My ONLY complaint was that they charged me for each individual topping I added to the omelet. The menu says a BYO omelet is $15. I would think BYO would come with 2-3 toppings included but they literally charged me for each topping. We got sausage, onions and spinach and they charged me $2 for the sausage, $1 for the onion and $1 for the spinach. So I’m just trying to understand what’s included in the $15 of each topping has an additional charge. I would definitely go back though because the food and service were spectacular. I just think the management needs to fix the way the omelet is priced in the system. Atleast 2 toppings should be included in the $15.
