Blu Ox Restaurant and Bar at Bad Axe Throwing

My husband and I went there looking for a fun date experience and we were not disappointed! The waiver process was quick & efficient. Our drinks were AMAZING (he had a traditional old fashioned and I had the “Blue Ox” Old Fashioned which was tasty.) The food was delicious and came out quickly as we played. Our coach was kind and attentive which made helped us feel successful. We WILL be back again!

Adam was amazing instructor and server. Attentive and friendly. We had a great time and he was on top Of everything. We felt like Vikings by time we left.

Response to the owner: I was asked my email address when filling out the release paper work for axe throwing. Using my Gmail, I tagged my email address in a way that was specific to this event and business never used anywhere else. I'm now getting advertisements to that specific email.

10/10 experience. The food was great and the axe throwing was a blast! The bar/axe bay combo made for a unique, fun atmosphere with a welcoming vibe. Our coach was attentive and super helpful when she noticed me struggling. Ended up getting a few bullseyes with her tips! We're locals but this is a great option for anyone looking to visit the city but get away from the Broadway chaos. We'll def be back.

The food is regular bar food but it's good. But the atmosphere and the staff are amazing. Definitely go there you'll have a good time.

We had a big party and ASHLEY was our waitress. She did an amazing job and was very attentive. She was also an Amazing axe throwing instructor. When visiting Nashville again will definitely be coming back. Food was also GREAT!

Live music was so loud you couldn't talk to the person sitting next to you, but we were also seated directly in front of the stage. Server wasn't very attentive and they were out of Nashville hot sauce which I didn't find out until my food came out without it. Was a bit pricey for regular bar food, but I guess when in Nashville plan to pay extra for location.

We had a great time !! Will go back for sure! Great service , great food and awesome axe throwing!!

A fun and different experience. Adam was very friendly and approachable. The food was packed with flavor and huge portions. Really enjoyed it and will be back for more!

I swear the drinks here are worth going here alone. Thanks to Savannah for throwing it down! Really had an awesome experience. Paired with the experience of axe throwing- the experience is incredible. Definitely suggest you make a trip out here when in town.
