This was our first time at Boombozz. The parking is only street parking, and there’s not much of it. The facility inside was very nice. As is common in most sports restaurants, the construction and design make it a relatively loud atmosphere. There is also a very nice children’s play area outside with slides, climbing objects, and other attractions. Despite all of this, I cannot recommend this restaurant. First the prices are not bad for the genre of restaurant, but the portions are small (for the price) and if it is a meat entree, there’s not much of it. My chicken sandwich tasted good (but not spectacular), but it was mostly bread. One person in our party ordered an “old fashioned” adult beverage. It barely had a taste of alcohol. It was sent back. Another ordered the cheese ravioli appetizer. They tasted very good, but there were very few of them. The buttered noodles were largely tasteless. There was a child in our party who was very anxious to get out to the play area. It was very crowded. Most parents there either paid very little or no attention to their charges, or allowed them to be very rude to other children. On top of all of that, someone was smoking pot. There was a very strong odor of it the 2-3 times the child in our party went outside. The only reason I gave food as many as 2 stars is that it was edible, but unremarkable. Between the prices, portion sizes, and poor (or nonexistent) management of the play area, we won’t be back or recommend this restaurant.

Good spot to take the kids, incredible beer selection. Wings were crispy but quite possibly some of the worst wing sauce I've ever had. Garlic Parmesean and Buffalo sauces are some of the easiest things you could make and they were both terrible.

I'm not normally the type to leave reviews for restaurants, but the service here was so bad that I will never come back again and needed to share my experience. I was meeting here with some friends (13+) to watch a basketball game at 7pm on a Sat night. A few of us arrived around 5:45pm to make sure we could get a table to fit our large party and had to wait for an hour to get seated. For some reason they decided to split us up into 2 6-person booths, which would only fit 12 of our expected party. It took about another 20 minutes before a server came out to take our drink order. The drinks took about another 20 minutes to arrive, and as the server was handing them out we realized that he only brought the drinks for one of our booths and completely forgot to acknowledge our second booth. He proceeded to take the food order for the booth with drinks and walked away. Once we managed to track down another server to ask about the remainder of our drinks, a food runner came out with all the food that the other booth had ordered. At that point we had waited for over 45 minutes for the remainder of our drinks. We called management and the only thing he managed to do was apologize saying that our server was handling a 40-person party and that's why she hadn't been able to come see us. When we explained that it had been a guy who took our drink order they looked confused. Clearly they have a problem with management and understaffing because for it being a Saturday night and March Madness, the place had plenty of empty tables, but was having over 1hr wait times for parties. After they got their act together we finally managed to get our drinks and place our food order with a new server (Brooke - who was wonderful by the way) but overall I feel like our experience was way below expectations - and normally my expectations for a standard sports bar/pizza place aren't very high to begin with. My advice is to skip this place and just head over to 5 points.

This place is rough. Food is decent if you ever get it. Kitchen is horribly slow considering the place is never busy. Bar is the same way. Management walks around completely oblivious to the people waiting 45+ min for food.

I had a bad experience at this place. Yes, don't even start me with the short-staffed argument. That's gotten old by now. But I'll get into that in a bit.My family and I are visiting Nashville, and after many days of delicious BBQ and southern cuisine, we wanted to take a break into something more traditional (for us) and decided to search for a good pizza spot. The place closes at 10:00 PM, and I have a personal rule of not arriving at any place within 1 hour or less of its closing time, out of respect for the staff. So we arrived at 8:30 PM, which for me is reasonable. It took us an uncomfortably weird long time to even get someone to notice our presence enough to seat us. I would guess it was like 5-8 minutes (which doesn't seem like much, but when you are standing in front of a host counter hoping to at least be seen, it feels like a lot). Then we finally sat, and it took us another at least 10 minutes to have a waiter come to the table with menus. I know this because I remember looking at my watch, and it was 8:45 PM, and I was about to leave, which I only didn't because my daughter got entertained with the playground (luckily they had one). Also, because I knew that at that time it would be difficult to find another open place.By the way, during that felt-like-eternal 15-minute wait, one person who looked like the owner or at least the manager (who was working very hard at cleaning tables for the next day) mumbled something from behind a facemask like “someone will be with you shortly.” But that was as far as he went. So, we finally ordered, and once again: disappointment. One of the things that got me excited about this place from the beginning was the extensive draft beer menu. I was hoping to try different ones, but unfortunately, due to the service inefficiencies, I only had time for one (upsell opportunity lost). My beer was forgotten, so I needed to remind my server that I had ordered it when the food was almost coming. To crown the experience, the pizza finally came (it didn't take too long), topped with the final disappointment: I decided to order an easy flavor, so I didn't put too much complexity on such a busy staff (I'll explain the comment later), and ordered a Margherita. They forgot to add the menu-advertised “fresh” basil, which basically turned it into an overpriced cheese pizza (no, I wouldn't send it back and wait for another 30 minutes). In conclusion, before someone plays the short-staff card: the staff-to-customer ratio was clearly in favor of the staff. There were 2 tables in addition to mine, plus a handful of folks sitting by the bar catching up with the basketball game. There were PLENTY of people from the staff running around here and there, and that's when it hit me: every single person's priority at that time was making the place ready for the next day, not – by any means – the paying customers who were there at that very moment. So, this is not about the number of people, but about process and priority. What many business owners and managers seem to not understand is that people do not dine out searching for food. That's why you go to grocery stores for. People dine out searching for an experience (or having a good time). And you ruined mine.I know this is a long text, but it took less time to write it than what I waited to even get seated. And I hope it is perceived as free product/service feedback (something that many companies pay a lot of money to obtain).

Blake Kovrig was so very unprofessional. Me and my wife ordered a supreme pizza with very light sauce on one side and no tomatoes on 1 side Blake brought the pizza out very cold. The chicken wings were also cold. We had already taste the food to let them know that it was cold. The waitress told us that we could keep it and they would bring us out some hot food. Blake came to the table took the chicken wings and the pizza back and said that he was gonna give it to someone else. After my wife asked him you're just gonna throw it away and again, he said no. , I'm going to give it to someone else. That is very unprofessional. And why would you take food in the kitchen? That someone has already been eating not good for business

**EDIT TO ORIGINAL REVIEW* I guess I should have waited for the transaction to clear before posting the review, doesn't look like the server was happy with their tip and decided to fill in their own amount on the receipt. This place is rough. Every year when the weather gets nicer we give it a try in hopes it has improved, but somehow it manages to get worse. Once you are actually able to get the attention of an overworked server, it takes FOREVER to get a drink brought to your table. I live in the area and could walk home and get a beer out of my fridge and be back quicker than it takes them to bring one over from the bar. We waiting 45+ min for 2 meals. When it was questioned, the only response was "well other tables haven't gotten their food either." This place has horrible kitchen management. The servers do the best they can with as horrible as the place is managed.
