Again, love this place and I have never had a bad meal here. I almost always sit at the bar, but on occasion have sat outside on their patio. This time, I went by myself and sat in the bar area on a Saturday, it was busy! Vandy was playing UK at home, too, adding to the mix! I got the bears fast sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese on bread—very good! And they have a dry white there that is really good, had that. Nicky as usual was a great server and bartender. Smashburger is great! Cheese is melted perfectly. Be sure to get grilled onions on burger. Staff are very friendly & know the history of the place. Willing to take time to make you feel welcome. Will be back when visiting Nashville.

Great spot. Friendly staff, interesting clientele, tasty food and drinks.

I love a good local bar and this is a really good one. Great burgers! I had a bacon and blue, with tots, a side wedge, and a couple of $4 PBR and walked with a $34 tab, hard to beat in 2025 $.

No band the Sunday night I was there, but a solid playlist of great music and friendly banter between the staff and regulars. They made me feel right at home too.
