I couldn’t wait to eat at Cal’ again since they closed and now they are opened again . But I don’t know what my rush was for a big disappointment, chicken and dressing needed more seasoning they give you a half scoop of gravy, Mac and cheese was over cooked, can green beans was suppose to have turkey meat in them but no taste. Whoever making them cakes need to go to bed because that lemon cake taste like garbage my granddaughter can make a cake better then that one. No love in the food. The guy acted like he was scared to touch the customers hand but he wanted that money for that horrible food. Go back to cooking school whoever is doing the cooking at Cal’s

First visit to Cal's Country Kitchen today. Food was hot & delicious. Service was fast, we took our food to go but they have seating if you want to eat there. We had chicken n dressing, Mac n cheese, green beans, roll, fried chicken, Mashed potatoes, Turnip Greens, Cornbread, strawberry cake, & Brownie. It was nap time after that good meal, lol.
Parking: There is slanted parking beside the building. Then there is an empty lot across the street that provides some additional parking.

I just love the food. I have loved everything I've tried.
First visit and last visit! I purchased 3 plates. The Portion sizes and taste don’t match the $15 price. Fried chicken had flavor & moist, -Chicken & dressing good, but hardly no chicken. Mac and cheese mediocre, the collard greens needed turkey meat, and flavorful seasoning. Sweet potatoes were good. I came after lunch, but like they say 1st impression is the lasting impression.

Stop by this place for the first time and the food wasn't too bad I must say it was seasoned and prepared good. The portions were highly measured but the food tastes good. If you're in the area I suggest you give it a try the price was fair or is expected for what you are getting. The chicken and Justin had a really good taste to it but there wasn't a lot of chicken in the dressing. Pork chop was well-cooked and seasoned you only get one pork chop though. The barbecue chicken was okay I felt it could have been cooked a little bit more but besides that I got was yams mac and cheese collard greens and cabbage and it all tasted good.
