My partner bought 4 plate lunches for dinner. I got home from work, and started to eat my food. The chitterlings were tough , dark in color. There was poop still on all three plates of chitterlings. We couldn’t eat any of that food because it was contaminated with chitterling juice. I haven’t. He spent105.00 on this food! I called the restaurant to speak to the manager. No response. That’s bad business.

Hey cuz I was in here with my wife and family cause I've been in town for a couple of years now. Was told this place was good back in the day but not now. Food cold AF feel like you need to open carry how shady these people are I'm from inner city of Chicago. Girls walking around asking if you a dance I was like look lady can I just eat my catfish and biscuit in peace. After all that some guy came in with a plastic crown and party supply cape at 1st I thought he was autistic, but he wasn't wasn't comes to our table telling us his name was the king of Memphis Mac Allen Puryear and he was selling live on DVD specials. I was confused boxed my food up and got the hell out of there.

Oxtails was too salty.. 2 oxtails with side oxtails plates with 2 veggies no bread came up 57.00. I couldn't eat it because it was insanely salty.
Came in on a Sunday since I saw this was one of the few meat and three places open. Fried catfish was perfect, the cabbage was the best part of the plate, pintos and cornbread were on point too. Definitely will be making a return trip to try more of their options .

I went once and that will be my first and last time. Went on a Sunday after church, upon entering there was no one seated in the booths, only carryout. This worked for me, but the entire restaurant was dark. The customer service consisted of NO ONE saying hello or welcome, just "what do you want?" And that was said begrudgingly.
Food taste ans quality is not worth going back for and definitely not worth it with the lack of customer service. There are too many other options around Nashville.

If you come here, GET. THE. CATFISH. I have a hard time believing youd find a better place to eat catfish than this restauraunt. Service was quick and staff was polite. Absolutely reccommend to anyone in the area.
