Was not expecting this to be a small restaurant in a hotel bar area. Outside looked ok, but it was 90 degrees out there. Food was average at best. Our server was very good, but she couldn't carry the restaurant on her own. I would consider one of several better options in the area.
This would be your standard hotel bar but for one thing: its absolutely extraordinary bartender, Kirby Lyle. A great bartender somehow feels like an old friend the first time you meet him. That's Kirby. He's also a terrific conversationalist and, on top of all that, an accomplished musician. If you give him a little encouragement, he'll break out his guitar and treat you to a song or two: maybe a John Prine cover or one of his own original compositions. Nashville is music city, but this place is still far enough from the Broadway honky tonks that it's a welcome surprise to get to chat with and listen to the music of someone so talented. I travel a good deal and I've stayed in a lot of Marriotts, but enjoying a drink with Kirby is, by a long margin, my favorite experience in any of them. He's a gem and I feel lucky to have met him.
Really cool hotel bar. Great atmosphere created by Kirby Lyle, the bar tender who can sing! Enjoyed great drinks and music.
Excellent service from Kirby Lyle who made sure we were well looked after and even played some music for us! Would definitely recommend.
Service was wonderful. Bartender (Kirby!) was really nice and told us about Nashville, folk music, and guitars. What an awesome guy!
Nick was great! Had a drink at the bar and great service
Hospital cafeteria food.
Great place for winding down with drinks and food.
Nick and Kirby Lyle looked after us great at the bar! Great vibe in the bar, reasonable pricing (for Nashville!) and my wife loved the fries. Kirby did a great job of keeping us entertained too!
My husband and I came down for a drink on a Saturday evening. We were given wonderful service by Kirby & Nick and the best Old Fashioned I’ve had in town… definitely recommend!

Evelyn was fantastic as she met the request for a bday celebration for my 15 year old daughter. Kirby sang and brought his guitar to celebrate. It was a fantastic night with a great meal that we will never forget.
They had one beer on tap, despite advertising having a wide selection. I ordered an old fashioned for $16, atrocious. Wife ordered a burger, it was fine. Her fries were soggy. I ordered the truffle pasta, and got the smallest serving of very bland noodles I have ever seen, for over $20. As of right now this place has a 4.8 rating on Google and nothing has shaken my faith in the internet more. Avoid.
The Lobster Hushpuppies were the bomb!! The sauce with it is incredible! Never had anything like it... we'll be back soon.
The food was ok. Nothing to run over and eat. They were out of most of the drink items on the menu. Our wonderful waitress tried her best.
I didn't realize when we booked this that it was a hotel restaurant. It is right at the edge of campus, which was convenient after a school tour, but it is nothing special or worth writing home about. When we arrived, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our waitress was fine but didn't seem to want to be there. The food was fine but nothing stood out, except for the corn dip, which was really good.
