This colorful, festive bar is pure holiday magic. From the moment you walk in, the décor and energy make it feel like a celebration, and the imaginative cocktails really steal the show. The holiday pop-up menu is creative and fun, with drinks that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Standouts like the Family Chop Now and the Tequila Hurricane are bold, well-balanced, and clearly crafted with care. It’s the kind of place where every cocktail feels special, the vibe is upbeat and welcoming, and you can’t help but get into the holiday spirit. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves creative drinks and a lively, festive atmosphere

We walked in yesterday to no one at the hosting stand to seat us. We waited for about 5 mins then tried to walk up to the bar to grab a seat instead of waiting for a table. While we were walking to the bar the bartender yelled at us and pointed “Can you just wait! Go back to the stand and wait!” In such a rude tone it had an unsettling start. I guess he didn’t want us to be his customers at the bar and at this point we didn’t want to be served by him either. He also didn’t know where we were going, could have been looking for the bathroom. Our server came out a few mins later and was fantastic the place was probably at 30% capacity and he let us pick our table. Drinks took about 20-25 mins to come out after ordering. Not going back due to being yelled at.

The atmosphere is fun! However, as a local who visits a couple times a year when invited, I find the staff off putting; hosts, servers, and bartenders alike have given off the impression that our presence is an inconvenience. If I’m paying $20 for a cocktail, I’d like to be greeted warmly and checked in on from time to time.

This most recent time, I didn’t personally care for my frozen drink, but the others in my group seemed to enjoy theirs. Maybe an actual cocktail would have been the move.

Nashville may be known for her honky-tonks, but Chopper is a welcome break from the bachelorette party tourist traps on Broadway and a must-do while visiting Music City. Chopper's awesome retro Rock-Em-Sock-Em-Robots tiki vibe is not your typical tiki bar vibe, but the delicious tropical cocktails reveal its tiki bar roots. Indoor and outdoor seating, great people, and cool tiki merch. Add Chopper to your tiki bar bucket list!

We came 2 nights in a row to the tiki Christmas bar. If Sunday had been our first visit, we might not have ever come back, but since our first visit was on Saturday and it went much more smoothly, we definitely liked it. The Saturday night bartender was attentive and very good whereas the Sunday night bartender was too busy talking and took forever to be acknowledged. It took 25 minutes to get a drink and only because the host guy finally came up and helped us. If you are busy you should at least acknowledge someone’s presence and say you will be with them ASAP. All of the holiday mugs were super cute and the drinks were great!! . The lighting on Saturday was good but on Sunday it’s like they changed everything to blue and purple and you could not take any pictures it was so dark. The server on Sunday told me they don’t have lemon juice so she couldn’t make the Robo zombie as if that even makes a difference! Just put lime juice in it and move along. The drink was great and I didn't taste the lime juice at all so it made no difference. The Mexican food truck outside is very good!!! I loved the huge robot over the bar on the ceiling and that they had comfortable bar seating. The tiki cup collections were cool to see.

Greeted warmly by the host and sat outside. Then it took a really long time to get drinks ordered. The drinks came in a reasonable amount of time, then it seemed like our server forgot about us. Multiple times we had to either seek him out or order at the bar. It's a shame because it's such a cool spot with fun drinks, but the lack of service really detracted from it.

This place is a must try place in Nashville. Forget Broadway, thats for tourists. The locals know Chopper is the place to be. The drinks are strong and delicious, the tiki vibes are on point, and the bartenders know their stuff. Shoutouts to Kara and Emory! Both bad ass servers who know how
to treat people right. We loved our time here and will be back, often.
