We are regulars at this Cicis Pizza location and have been coming for over 10 years. We came in tonight for a family dinner, and there was a new redhead employee working the cash register. When we got there she didn’t greet us, and she was rude when ringing us up. We ate there anyways, however when we tried to order a pizza she also continued to ignore us and then continued to aggressively hand us a paper so we could right down our order. Which is understandable however the attitude isn’t. She continued to chat with a coworker and even when it came to handing us our food she threw it on the front counter and had her coworker “please” bring it to us. The food was good as usual, but the employees were not the ones we usually encounter. We didn’t have an issue with any other employee, except for her. We sat in the front so we just felt uncomfortable the whole time as she would just give us side glances, and mean looks. We finished eating, and sat for awhile as we usually do. This experience here was one we’ve never had before, extremely disappointed.

For anybody who lives in here in Madison, TN I 100% do not recommend you to ever eat Ci cis pizza in rivergate, tn the food is very mediocre the service and the atmosphere is trifling. 1. Ci ci pizza opens at 10:30am I went around 11:20 why is every table like literally every table either dirty or stacked with dirty plates and nobody is pulling them off the table or cleaning them off. The staff is just standing there not doing nothing standing like Deers in the headlight. I understand why people couldn’t throw there plates and cups in the bins because even the bin was over stacked with plates n cups like Ci cis what are y’all doing? This is trifling it’s not nasty it’s trifling. Why is the floor from the entrance to the game room it’s filled with trash like a tornado came thru in less than a hour. I lost my appetite and left because I was sitting at a table close to the game room close to the tv there was a staff member who came out with a bottle of cleaner I’m thinking he is about to clean the restaurant and the tables that’s filled with trash no the men starts to wipe down the games not the tables the games.. he got real close to my table spraying that bottle of cleaner I lost my appetite because I was smelling bleach. Any person with COMMMON SENSE would know not to spray cleaner where someone is eating that’s nasty like come on… ci cis pizza in rivergate used to be the best go to spot for a pizza buffet that was affordable. Now we paying $12.85 cents to sit in a pigsty. The whole staff including managers needs to be retrained. Before I went to the restaurant I read the reviews I thought they was lying no they are not these reviews really reflect how the restaurant is. It’s literally a dump. FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO EAT HERE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST BEFORE GOING ITS NOT WORTH THE TRIP NOR THE MONEY PLEASE GO TO SOMEWHERE WHERE THEY VALUE CLEANLINESS. The owner of this restaurant should be ashamed of themselves on how this buffet looks A Damn shame. I’ve been coming to this particular Ci Ci pizza since I was a kid and today has shown me I WOULD NEVER STEP FOOT BACK IN THIS RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYBODY. I really hope it’s sad to say but I really hope this buffet is the next place in Madison/ Rivergate Tn to be shutdown for something better. I wish I took pictures but the reviews on here really depict on what I seen this morning it’s sad. I was better off going to the convenience store n buying a chips to eat instead of spending my money there I wish I could just got a refund it wasn’t worth it at all. 01-05-26

The staff that attended to us was nice. I visited here with my children after shopping and of course they were very hungry and they enjoyed their lunch. Service was great and the environment clean. Will stop by here anytime I’m around. Nice place 👍
Wow! Guy using the register and then not cleaning his hands and dipping them into the salad bar. It’s against all health code regulations to not be wearing gloves and then him using the cash register before he did it! Cmon I know it’s just a cheap pizza place but be clean!! I’m going to call the health department!!

The lady at the counter mistakenly charged me for 4 children, when we only had 3. When i asked her to fix it she told me to “move out of the way” so she can take care of other costumers, so i did. She took care of the customer and did the same to him! When she was done with him she laid the refund on the counter which should’ve been the end of it, when i asked for my receipt back she AGAIN told me to “move out of the way” so she can take care of another customer, because she needed to print another receipt. When she was done with the next customer she THREW the same receipt i handed her on the counter and threw her hands up in a mocking way to be rude ONCE again. Customer service was very poor. Next we watched the cook in the kitchen play on his phone with his gloves on and again continue to handle the pizza without changing his gloves. Disgusting and will not return to this location!!
