Staying at the resort next door and walked over for dinner- chose this restaurant based on appearance and menu as compared to other options at the mall. Expected typical overpriced tourist chain type mall food but we were pleasantly surprised by quality, especially kids pizza portions. Sever was attentive, atmosphere nice & restaurant clean. One small issue with our check which the manager immediately corrected and even comped a meal (completely unexpected not necessary)....
It's a chain but we don't have one in Charlotte yet so I'll continue to patronize this place. Claim Jumpers used to be known for it's big portions like the Cheesecake Factory but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Oh well.
The spicy, candied bacon was really good and the wedge lettuce salad was refreshing. Everything else was so so. The long island iced teas were sour, pizza was completely burned black on the bottom. Cauliflower and calamari had too much breading.
