This review is for persons considering this space for large special events. During the time I stayed at the Gaylord, I saw a few special events be held at this cafe.First of all, it's a gorgeous space. During the day, it's a cafe for quick eats. If an event is being held, they start blocking off areas early.Secondly, the fountain transforms into a dance floor. Talk about cool. It's also more floor space for those who want a sit down affair. As a guest, I was impressed by the space and the food served. And the waitstaff is on it.

I’ll preface this by saying that we stayed at this hotel with an event, which was full to capacity. It’s a beautiful hotel. Loved the gardens, water, features, and outside of rooms were very pleasant. Long lines for anything. Food, etc. At least 30-45 minute waits. Most ppl ended up ordering out or bringing back to the hotel. Market place stores prices were jacked up at least 3x what you’d pay at home. Horrible signage (non existent for restaurants and hard to find for restrooms). The app was painful to use. If you need to be in one specific area at a specific time, leave yourself plenty of time to allow for getting lost (happened to us several times, leading to unnecessary running around). Restaurants were subpar. “Traditional” rooms nothing special. Pools were nice but packed. Would not recommend this hotel for a calming vacation as it’s clearly understaffed. Biting off more than they can chew.

My youngest son's most favorite place on earth (and he has been to Disneyworld lol). Safe enough to let my teenagers wander around the massive property on their own to explore - so much to do! Our room overlooked the atrium (after moving from a suite with WAY too much foot traffic that could peer into our room) so while the older kids slept my youngest and I enjoyed breakfast people watching. Conveniently located a short walk to the Opry Mills shopping centre and a quick Uber to downtown - this gem of a resort is a must do when staying in Nashville with family. Its our third visit and it never gets old!

Perpetual long lines at check in - front desk staffing levels insufficient to meet demand/volume of customers. Frustrating to stand in line for half an hour after a long travel day to check in. Bell staff equally overwhelmed and unable to provide timely assistance. The gardens and water features and restaurants are beautiful. The rooms are fine but nothing special. Appropriate staffing levels could’ve resulted in a much better experience.

Great resort with options for everyone in the family. Well maintained, great waterpark, good dine in eating options. You can easily spend 2 night with family and friends. Getting in and out of parking is an issue (cards don’t work), takeout options at delta are overpriced and average quality, would’ve been good to have separate check in line for elite members.

Beautiful resort hotel with many restaurants and shops on site. Rooms were typical hotel rooms. Clean with comfy beds. Pool area was nice with plenty of chairs. Appreciated the signage around the resort. Only drawbacks are the size, large crowds and the prices. Plan for typical overinflated food and drink prices.

We did a staycation and bring the kids to the water park. Overall experience was good, we just wish there were more signs for directions of where things are. For example, I counted only 1 sign to the water park from the check in lobby. No signs on which floor it’s on, etc.

A fabulous and fun getaway for the family. There is so much to see and explore even for locals and Soundwaves is top notch. We love wandering the garden conservatory and eating pizza in the Delta. This hotel is clean and comfortable and I highly recommend and interior atrium view to enjoy the sounds of the casacades waterfall.

Overpriced for the experience. Rooms are very small. There’s no couches or pull outs for kids to sleep on, and they charge an additional $25 for a cot to be brought to your room. Expect to get lost because the resort is huge and the signs are confusing. Gardens are pretty, but don’t compensate for the terrible and overpriced food. The wait staff and bartenders are rude. The front desk screwed up my reservation and booked me 2 rooms instead of 1. They agreed to cancel the 2nd room and refund my card, but still ended up charging my credit card $381 for the extra room. There were almost $300 in additional charges on my card that I didn’t authorize. When I reached out to them for clarification, I was transferred multiple times, hung up on, and placed on hold for 30 minutes. I finally emailed them since phone calls were getting me nowhere, and the customer service representative said they would need to contact the accounting department to get an explanation for the unauthorized charges and it would be 5-7 business days before I would hear back from them. It’s the 8th business day and I still haven’t heard back from them. They also said that if they decided issue me a refund for the unauthorized charges, it would be 14-21 business days before I would see it reflected on my card. If they end up denying my refund, I’ll dispute the charges with my credit card company. You do not want to stay at this hotel. It’s more hassle and money than it’s worth.

Way more bad than good at this hotel! 1) They locked me out of my hotel room at 12:30AM because they didn’t have a “personal” credit card on file for incidentals. I had been at the hotel for 3 days already and they gave me a mobile pass before check in as well as had my company credit card on my account. When I called desk they said I had to come to front desk. I said I didn’t have a credit card with me since it was a work event and they said they would send security to unlock my room and escort me back to front desk LIKE A CRIMINAL even though I was event planner and spending half a mil for my company event 2) every single room was HOT!!!! My hotel room said 65 but couldn’t have been less than 73-75. Our conference rooms were burning up and coworkers were dripping sweat even when workers brought fans in. Walking through delta had you sweating before you got to where you were going. It was 40s outside so they had to push the heat. 3) WAITS for everything. Want coffee? 45 min wait. Want food? Empty restaurant but no servers so 45 min wait. 4) Rude workers. People helping for out convention had attitude problems. The man working at the road yelled at me cause I called an Uber for the airport and he said they couldn’t come up where buses were (even tho that’s a stop on the app) and said I should have taken the free bus shuttle and go grab Uber in THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD

I had a great stay at the Gaylord Opryland. My room was spacious and clean. I had an indoor balcony room that overlooked a waterfall. The bathroom was a little tight but maintained very well. Only recommendation I have is they spray and wipe the top of the shower walls down a little better to avoid the developing mold. The hallway smelled like chlorine at times but what else would you expect from a hotel with a water park. Nonetheless, it was noting too extreme and didn't detract from the overall positive experience. I would most definitely stay here again.

Found what I was looking for & nice staff.

About as close as you get to a real Starbucks inside Opryland.

Good Starbucks Coffee here and a few Box lunch choices. Food was a little pricey. Choose another place to eat.
