We were short on time (visiting from the uk), and was almost going to give this place a miss as we really wanted to try Hattie bs….

Well if you check out my review there you’ll understand why we ended up in cook out

Cook out was amazing, great service, great food and very reasonably priced, the shakes are to die for

We purchased the memorabilia t shirts on sale to take home to England too

Thank you and happy thanksgiving to you all

(Maybe you can pop to hattie bs and teach them some manners, and guest relation skills).

Cook out is my favorite fast food ever. We flew from Colorado and I had to have it. Still best food ever. Prices are super low, soda is super crisp. I miss it already.

The burger is a cross between Burger King and Five Guys at much less than the cost. Worth a try.

I’ve gone to this location and only this location a lot over the past years I’ve worked a few blocks away. Usually go through the drive thru. The last three times I’ve gone, I’m charged for large fries even though i asked for regular (aka small) and was given small. First time, i thought they raised their prices, second time actually looked at my receipt and it said i was charge for large fries (again even though i asked for regular and was given regular. Took a pic of that then called customer service and they helped me with some voucher or whatever. I went a third time, but went inside this time. The man charged me for large fries even though i was directly in front of him and said regular fries (cause that’s what their small is called).

Anyway, i told him to refund me. That i have been coming to this location for a couple years now and this issue has been happening to me three times in a row the last three times I have been here. Even though it never has the countless other times I’ve gone. He didn’t care that i am a customer and that i told him I’ve been coming here for a couple years. He said that he has been working there for seven years and they have only ever served large fries…i pointed at the menu behind him and said you have regular fries right there. He said I have to ask for small fries. I told him they aren’t called small fries. They’re called regular fries lol. And after he told me he has worked there for seven years, i happily told him that it’s nice that they can’t get my order of fries right the last three times I’ve been here and yet have the countless other times I’ve ordered. Anyway, then he didn’t refund my card, he instead gave me change from the cash register back.

Just really weird. Once my voucher arrives, I’ll have to come back once more to use it, but def won’t be using it for fries cause clearly regular fries means large or whatever scam they’re trying to pull and then they give you regular sized fries anyway. Like idk if it’s some scam to cheat people out of money. But i legit had to waste my breath telling someone who apparently worked there for seven years that I'm being fraudulently charged three times in a row for fries I didn’t ask for and didn’t get anyway lol cause they kept giving me the regular sized fries which is in no way their large…anyway glad I don’t have to deal with this anymore cause I don’t want to ever go back even with the voucher. I guess I’ll go to a rando location in the suburbs to use the voucher.

The staff here are actually vampires, but hey, they get their jobs done amazingly well so why would we complain about a little blood loss? All jokes aside, considering the night staff are back in each morning after what must be a two hour nap at most, this place turns around food and tables quickly.

If I were the owner, I'd strongly advise to reassess the corporate business model to help ease your staff out. I would happily pay you another $3+ per tray if it helped you attract more staff, because the ones you currently have are killing it. Keep it up 🔥

Any business that needs literal barriers inside to wind what must be some ridiculous lines has got to be pumping business like crazy, and I applaud these folks.

Food is always awesome and very reasonably priced. Plus since the pandemic they're the only place that has late hours anymore. All the other places seem to think it's okay to close at 10:00 like the rest of the world stops then.

I love this cookout and frequent it pretty often and the drive thru staff was nothing short of polite and apologetic when I came back through expressing I was missing a chicken wrap from my order and instead received a quesadilla. I was very polite and offered my trays in my hand for them to check. To the bald white man with the clipboard who came to the window who I can only imagine is the manager… I work late nights in the service industry myself and I don’t appreciate you hassling me for your mistake. This man wouldn’t take the tray and told me “your wrap is right there open the box” proceeded to show him the quesadilla and he slams the window. Super unprofessional, do better.

Food was nothing to get excited about. Service is terrible. Staff were not welcoming at all in fact they were almost hostile.

Stopped here on our first night in Nashville as it was on our way to our hotel. Super cheap which was great but completely bland almost had no flavor. The sandwiches were just drowning in sauce as well I guess it’s worth it for what you pay but not something I’d be interested in having again.

Extremely disappointed with my order. The chili cheese fries and walking taco were both terrible — honestly inedible. This was one of the worst meals I’ve had, and I regret spending $25 here.
