Neighborhood cafe mostly seniors dining they don’t tip. All food is thrown in the trash at the end of the day such a waste. Unsanitary cooler’s kitchen old and needs to be updated for safety and cleanliness.

The coconut chicken is really good it's not too sweet but was very juicy. The barbeque chicken is kind of like a mcrib honestly. The sauce is a little grainy and pretty sweet. The sides are plentiful and the ones I've had; mashed potatoes, grilled veggies and candied sweet potatoes, are really good.

Yummy coconut chicken and veggies! Good place to get meat and 3. Also have nice salad and sandwich options.

Husband and I ate here for lunch after reading good reviews. Seating not very comfortable or welcoming. Food overcooked line food. Coconut chicken OK. Took a long time to make a sandwich even though almost no one was there. I had finished my lunch before the sandwich came out. I had one meat and one overcooked vegetable dish. Tea. Husband had sandwich and water. Came to almost $30 with tip. Unfortunately, nothing about this was a $30 lunch.

When our son attended Lipscomb, we ate here a few times. Sunday brunch was always very crowded and there were numerous, interesting foods to choose from. After many years, we decided to try it again. We walked in the restaurant for Sunday brunch and there was only one table occupied. That should have been our clue to leave. The cream cheese bagel with smoked salmon looked delicious, but the bagel was so hard, we couldn't eat it. The pork loin was very dry. Bacon and fried chicken were okay. Green beans and roasted potatoes tasted fair and were barely warm. Only one dessert was available--a peach bread pudding. It was cold and tasteless. We could make as many trips to the buffet as we wanted, but there wasn't anything we cared to try again. I wish I had spent that money elsewhere. We will not be back.

My FAVORITE casual restaurant in Nashville. Food is always fantastic, it’s a quick eat for weekday lunch and the brunch buffet is incredible. Thanks Copper Kettle, you ROCK! Love that they are next door to a local bookstore and Well Coffeehouse too.

While visiting Nashville over Thanksgiving, I was looking for a precooked Turkey for the day. Boy did we luck out in our choice. We ordered the fried cajun turkey that came sliced and ready to heat in a foil tray. It was moist, flavorful and everyone loved it. It came with a large container of cajun gravy. We also ordered the mac and cheese which has kept us going for days. Also delicious. They had it ready to pick up on the Wednesday afternoon - a couple of miles in an Uber from downtown- very easy. Thank you for helping to make our Thanksgiving Day.

We stopped here after church on Nov 3. We are from out of town but like to eat here on Sundays for their brunch. They've changed since we were here last as they don't have the appetizers , the fruit , and the desserts on the buffet. And it's not a true buffet any longer as a person now fills your plate. However, the food is as good as it was before. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, and sausage gravy. All were well seasoned and flavorful. Kids eat at a discount so the price is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this well known restaurant and we will come back again when we are in Nashville.

After leaving The Copper Kettle, my main thought was just to wonder just how much Gordon Ramsey would be swearing and yelling, because this place was an utter disaster.

Awesome Sunday Brunch! The 4-egg veggy omelet is delicious, sausage gravy the best I've had in a long time. Best kept Sunday secret in Green Hills.

First time here...directly across the street from Lipscomb University. We went there around 3:30 pm on a Thursday afternoon...so keep in mind the timing of the day regarding the food review. The atmosphere is nice, plenty of tables, music was a little loud, not busy. This is a meat & three cafeteria style of ordering. So, being that time of day the food was probably sitting there for several hours under the "heat" lamps. Ordered the Coconut Crusted Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans. Wife ordered the same except with fried okra. Daughter ordered the Caesar Salad. Chicken was dry, sides just warm at best. The Caesar dressing is in a small plastic cup, which is fine, but is a very thick style dressing...need to dip the bites into it. It was a good place to meet and not crowded that time of day. The menu includes other options as well...wraps, other salads, numerous types of tea / soda, which is self serve..so all you wish to drink. :-) Check the menu online to review. Would consider going again but go early to get hot food.
