Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Not a bad little meal for the money! Friday’s are fried fish day at the old Cracker Barrel Country Store. You can get four pieces of freshly fried cod or two pieces of country fried shrimp and two pieces of fried cod for only $15 and it comes with two sides and bread, now that’s a deal! We also had to try the two grilled tasted more baked rainbow trout filets $14 which were lacking in texture and taste but drenched in fresh squeezed lemon juice it brought them back into something that tasted fine for trout. The cornbread muffins and the hush puppies were both excellent. Both meals were a bargain and worth of money! They have a great waitstaff and cooks! It’s always fun to go shopping after the meal! At these prices I am looking at trying more things off the menu and trying more of their daily specials! The only problem is that we ended up spending the money we saved eating at Cracker Barrel back in the old country store! Update May 2024 Unfortunately the same cannot be said about their breakfast at least the time I went. While the pancakes were better than ever, golden brown, the over well fried eggs were underdone and the bacon was underdone and The Cracker Barrel has never done that before! You do get a lot for your money here. Update Dec 2025 We had a wonderful post Thanksgiving turkey, dressing, cranberry, sweet potatoes, green beans, cornbread muffins and warm pecan pie ala mode’ with great service. The fireplace was warm, interior traditional old world and with snow flurries outside which made for an enjoyable escape to yesteryear!

I ordered a pick up order and had to wait 40 minutes beyond the pickup time for my food. The woman at the register was very rude, told me to leave and come back later for my food. I thought it was a fluke so I decided to order again, this time for curbside pickup. Got there and all the curbside signs had been removed. So I went inside, again, to pick up my food amid all the confusion of people checking out. Upon arriving home I discovered that an entire meal was missing, all the biscuits were missing, and the sugar free syrup I ordered was not sugar free. I feel I am being generous giving this location two stars.

This was a nightmare on thanksgiving. Had online waitlist option only to get there and be told the system dropped the folks on it. Do better

waited almost 2 hours for our food . They gave us the wrong thing the first time

Wad on the wait list for breakfast today. Was told the wait was 10 to 15 mins. Reasonable. After over 30 mins, when it was clear no kne was being called for tables, I asked the hostess the issue. Apparently an employee had taken a reservation for group of 29 people. We all know Cracker Barrel does not take reservation. But management decided to seat this large party. They were not staffed for this group and the kitten came out and told the hostess to stop seating others due to the back log of orders. So those of us who had patiently waited were now expected to continue waiting until this huge party was taken care of. My 84yo mother was expected to wait. Clearly there was no concerns for the other paying customer who followed the rules. Even the staff was frustrated by management's choice. When I ask to speak with the manager, I was sent to the retail manager. While she was nice, she does not manage the restaurant. The restaurant manager never spoke to any other waiting guest. Most chose to leave once we found out the situation. Overall poor management.

Our server Kristina Y was AMAZING. She was very courteous, very prompt and did everything perfect and timely!! She even apologized for being slow due to it being busy and she was never slow. We never had empty beverages and she made she we always had biscuits. Best server I have had in awhile anywhere!

Unlike the last location I visited where everything was great, this most recent location left me somewhat disappointed.
Our first waitress was less than friendly and seemed to be eager to get off work. Thankfully her replacement was very pleasant and did a great job.
Another server decided to clean up in our dining section and was making unreasonable amounts of noise banging chairs around and hitting the tables with the broom and dustpan. It was as though he was attempting to make excessive noise.
The food quality was not what Cracker Barrel is famous for.
It may have just been a bad day for several of the staff...I truly hope so.
Hopefully this location will get back to the standards we all loved for so long.

This CB was smaller than most, but the food & service were exceptional! It was good to visit a CB as I remembered one from years ago.

Service was extremely slow but accurate. Has never taken so long to get our food. The cashier was very helpful and friendly. Food was good and mostly warm. Biscuits did not come out until food was eventually served.

Ordered delivery, 30 mins after expected delivery time, have received an email or text. Called location and they put me on hold with no answers. I assume they were hoping id hang up, they are wrong. I would not order from them again.
