Cross-Eyed Critters Watering Hole

I have had the fortunate opportunity to go to some of the best karaoke establishments in the country and also some of the worst. lol Critters is one of those hidden gems with a fantastic atmosphere, but can certainly do without the Critter show. The atmosphere shows legends living and past both all over the wall. The acoustics are absolutely amazing, who ever put the sound system in nailed it. But in my opinion aside from the ambiance, Lucas and Joe make Critters so warm and inviting regardless whether you are an excellent singer, not so great singer, with a bachelorette party, girls night out, on a date, or solo and just looking for some fun and unpredictable excitement!!! The bartenders are always nice as well!!! So it’s worth digging to find this hidden gem in Nashville for an unforgettable evening but I’d recommend more marketing of this fine establishment. I can promise you it’s more fun than you will expect!

This is truly my favorite place in nashville. The drinks and food are some of the best. The bartenders recognize me and make me feel like family. Lucas and Joe always make karaoke so much fun, remembering regulars and celebrating birthdays and all kinds of celebrations. Shua is the best and encourages patrons to sing the not so usual karaoke songs- like Chappell Roan and charli xcx!! I bring everyone here. Seriously the best

Crosseyed critters is genuinely my favorite place in Nashville! My friends and I have rang in the new year, celebrated birthdays, and enjoyed countless weekends singing karaoke!

The staff is just the best, and we consider this place a home in a crazy city! First place I always recommend to out of towners and locals alike!

First time in Nashville and we stumbled into this gem!!!! They welcomed us with such a fun night we came back every night of our stay!!! Jo, Sueve, Lucas and all the rest of the gang were so GREAT!!!! Go follow Jo Noto he is going to be the next big thing for sure!!!

Our go-to spot for a fun night out! Cross Eyed Critters has an unbeatable vibe, and Joe, the karaoke host, truly makes the experience. He keeps the energy high and makes sure everyone has a great time. Highly recommend for a memorable evening!

Bartenders are amazing and I Loved the vibe! The only reason I am not giving a 5 star review is how the karaoke is set up! I went to sign up (without my purse) and didn't get to tip the karaoke person (Lucas). Well I guess that effected my spot to sing, which I understand however it's my bday and I waited 2 hours AFTER signing up and still never got called on. We ended up leaving at 1:25 am because I still didn't get to sing and I was mad because there was a bridal party that sang multiple times before me. I work in the service industry and I understand a good tip, however it should not effect the spot you are singing.I was just wanting a night out with my sister (who sang twice) It rubbed me the wrong way that I didn't even want to tip by the end of it. Guess I know for next time. Shuah and Ivy were so nice and made the whole time great! Definitely will be back but not for the karaoke. #Dontforgettotiporyouwillgetskipped

Tourist trap !! My friends and I decided to go in for a couple drinks … bad mistake. First of all, drinks are way overpriced. Second of all, they don’t have any signs saying there’s a minimum and no one mentioned that there was one so a singular Michelob Ultra the size of my female hand ended up being $20. Security also bombarded us as soon as we got to the bar which was very strange. Overall, not worth it. Plenty of other places to get good drinks for those prices.

I am amazed at how horrible this place is. Maybe our mistake for going to a tourist trap as locals but my group figured we would pop in for a round of drinks, $20 for a cocktail is INSANE! I also watched the bartender pour half of the tequila going into my $20 cocktail on the bar mat and not even in the cup. I can justify $20 for a good drink but my glass was half full and i watched as they literally dumped half the shots not even in the cup. Also it doesn’t say there’s a minimum anywhere and my girlfriend ordered a $5 beer and instead of telling her there was a minimum they just charged $20 for a Michelob ultra??? Insanity!!!! The door was also open but security came up and questioned us like we weren’t supposed to be there… places like this is what’s ruining Nashville. Avoid at all costs unless you’re a typical tourist. Shame on this business.

DO NOT USE THE QR CODE TO SIGN UP FOR KARAOKE - IT IS A SCAM FOR TIPS. The worst karaoke bar in Nashville. It is a tourist trap that prioritizes awful singers. I live here and this is by far the worst setup and practice I’ve ever seen at a karaoke bar. The animatronics don’t even move anymore either…so zero hype. Drinks are overpriced. Just the worst. Avoid at all costs.

The funnest karaoke bar ever. The animatronic band was amazing. I was in the pigs gaze and will never be the same. Super chill atmosphere. Lots of fun.

We had the absolute best time celebrating Brittany’s Dirty 30!!! We only intended to stay for a couple of songs and ended up singing for 5 hours! AWESOME NIGHT!!!

My party was staying at the Graduate and we visited fairly early so not many people were there yet. The karaoke had not started and we put in to sing. After 3 hours of waiting, we still had not been called, yet the same people were being called up multiple times. After searching some Google reviews, I discovered that you have to "pay the MC" if you wish to get called. So we did, and magically we were called. This is really unfortunate and should be changed to a "pay-to-play" situation. People that do not read Google reviews would sit all night just hoping for a chance that will never come. If they would simply charge, the MC would continue to make money and the patrons would know they have to pay in order to participate. It would be a win-win. Otherwise, the service was good, the dessert was good and we had a great time.

If you're here to sing karaoke plan on waiting! They don't go in rotation. You'll have the same singer sing 2 and three times before you do! The servers behind the bar are great though!
