Cross-Eyed Critters Watering Hole

Our bachelorette party wandered into Critters after leaving White Limozeen, after they had just opened. We were the first ones in there and were immediately greeted by very friendly staff. Safe to say we are NOT singers, but they tolerated us as we butchered every single song and made us feel like superstars. Shoutout to Jared (if that’s even your name… we second guessed ourselves later) for dealing with us and our incessant Jared Goff chanting. You’re a legend in our group (as is the bouncer, Marshawn, who has the voice of an angel). We were bummed we couldn’t make it back later in the weekend, but next time I am in Nashville I am sorry to say we will certainly be passing through! Highlight of our weekend!

I came here ready to enjoy karaoke, but the host completely ruined the experience. When it was finally my turn, he was rude, dismissive, and made me feel unwelcome. A karaoke host’s job is to create a fun, supportive atmosphere — instead, his attitude embarrassed me and killed the vibe. If this is how they treat paying customers, I won’t be back, and I’d warn others to think twice before coming here.

A group of friends and I came in tonight excited to enjoy what we expected to be a fun night of karaoke. While I want to acknowledge that the bar staff was absolutely amazing and attentive, the experience with the karaoke setup was disappointing.

Despite multiple song requests being submitted, many were overlooked. Meanwhile, others who had just walked in were allowed to sing almost immediately—seemingly because they shared an affinity for the same football team as those running the karaoke.

This kind of selective treatment creates an exclusionary atmosphere and takes away from the welcoming, inclusive vibe a karaoke night should offer.

As we are a mixed group of friends of all demographics, this is disheartening as we had music choices of all genres be disregarded while “the boys” got to enjoy.

Unfortunately, this felt like a place where you have to look or act a certain way to be treated fairly.

We hope to see improvement in the future. Please do better.

This is a cool little spot inside the Graduate Hotel, by the elevators. Full bar with good house drink options and a solid variety of food to munch on.

The service was great and seating was near full, but open enough to find seats for 2. The karaoke aspect is lively and was very fun to listen to/enjoy!

I was helped by Samantha, who did a spectacular job. Very accommodating to me and my mom, and was quick with service.

No idea why people complain about the singing bartenders—they’re great. This karaoke bar at the Graduate Hotel has such a fun vibe. The bartenders are super talented and honestly help keep the energy up between regular karaoke performances. Just a heads-up: drink prices are definitely on the higher side, so be ready for that.

They charge state tax, county tax, & something called “liquor by the drink” tax. Over $30 for taxes! I will say that the karaoke was amazing. However the prices are ridiculous! Over $170 for 2 people for 2 hours of drinks. On top of the fact that we paid $660 for a Saturday night hotel stay in the summer (busy season)! not worth the money!!! I could have done a 4 day cruise all inclusive for the same amount as 1 single night! I literally spent over $800 for 1 night and only 2 hours of drinking!

Great place for karaoke. However they charge 3 taxes (state, county, & something called “liquor by the drink”) 2 people for 2 hours should NEVER cost over $160

I don't know what I witnessed, but it was awesome.

I have had the fortunate opportunity to go to some of the best karaoke establishments in the country and also some of the worst. lol Critters is one of those hidden gems with a fantastic atmosphere, but can certainly do without the Critter show. The atmosphere shows legends living and past both all over the wall. The acoustics are absolutely amazing, who ever put the sound system in nailed it. But in my opinion aside from the ambiance, Lucas and Joe make Critters so warm and inviting regardless whether you are an excellent singer, not so great singer, with a bachelorette party, girls night out, on a date, or solo and just looking for some fun and unpredictable excitement!!! The bartenders are always nice as well!!! So it’s worth digging to find this hidden gem in Nashville for an unforgettable evening but I’d recommend more marketing of this fine establishment. I can promise you it’s more fun than you will expect!

This is truly my favorite place in nashville. The drinks and food are some of the best. The bartenders recognize me and make me feel like family. Lucas and Joe always make karaoke so much fun, remembering regulars and celebrating birthdays and all kinds of celebrations. Shua is the best and encourages patrons to sing the not so usual karaoke songs- like Chappell Roan and charli xcx!! I bring everyone here. Seriously the best

Crosseyed critters is genuinely my favorite place in Nashville! My friends and I have rang in the new year, celebrated birthdays, and enjoyed countless weekends singing karaoke!

The staff is just the best, and we consider this place a home in a crazy city! First place I always recommend to out of towners and locals alike!

First time in Nashville and we stumbled into this gem!!!! They welcomed us with such a fun night we came back every night of our stay!!! Jo, Sueve, Lucas and all the rest of the gang were so GREAT!!!! Go follow Jo Noto he is going to be the next big thing for sure!!!
