Daily Grind Nashville Coffee

First: I’m extremely picky about my lattes. I am sensitive to overcooked (burnt taste) beans and undercooked (sour taste) beans. I have gone here repeatedly for iced lattes and they have always provided the perfect texture and balance. They are by far (and I don’t say this lightly) providing the BEST espresso in Nashville. Second: What truly makes this cafe great is that it’s the only cafe in town that makes you feel like you’re wanted. All of these cafes built in the last 20 years are hard, cold and sterile. If you’re younger than 40, you probably don’t even remember that cafes used to be warm, social, inviting and a home for many people. New cafes are so uninviting and I feel it’s done on purpose to get you to leave so more customers come in. But the Daily Grind? It’s homey, has couches, the walls are filled with all sorts of crafty love and plants and there’s a poster on the front that lets you know this is a SAFE space for all. It’s reminiscent of the old days when you had warm social spaces where you could spend hours every day with friends playing games, drawing, talking and no one glued to their phones. I hope this cafe gets to expand and provide even more of this nostalgic homey feel and bring that needed community experience back to Nashville. Stopped in today and got a Cuban latte and a maple cake donut. It was all excellent! The maple cake donut was the absolute best donut I have ever had! Delicious! The staff was super nice and friendly too. 10/10 recommend!

We love this spot! Took my son there for a special breakfast date with mom yesterday and everything about it was cozy, welcoming, and quality. Can't wait to go back.

Parking: I've never had trouble finding a parking space here, but it is a slightly small lot so you have to be courteous of others turning around, etc. Just don't zoom in too fast!

Kid-friendliness: It was kid-friendly in the sense that the staff was extremely friendly. But as always, kids should be supervised because they do have mugs for sale and other breakable things.

Daily Grind Nashville is a great restaurant to grab breakfast and coffee on the way to work! It's easy to order online and pick up. My favorite is the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant with a caramel frappe! The staff is welcoming and it’s the perfect place to hang out if you aren’t in a rush.

Get the cinnamon twist and the California (croissant sandwich). Love their seasonal latte rotation. The indoor plants, animal art, checkers table make it feel homey. Quick and friendly service each time. We love this place for a weekend breakfast run before getting our day started.

This is my favorite coffee shop in the entire Nashville area. The staff are all so nice, the food and drinks are great, the vibes are immaculately cozy, the wifi is fast - what more do you want??? This place is perfect.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. This place is such a nice local spot. The team was so friendly and attentive. The owners are extremely kind. My husband said this coffee was superior to other local spots, not to mention the amazing baked goods and also breakfast sandwich options. My kids also loved their donuts and hot chocolates. We spent about an hour and a half here with three kids and they were content playing with the jenga blocks and other games provided. No one seemed bothered by the kiddos either- defintely a family friendly environment. They had a good crowd when we got there so it’s clearly a local favorite. Will definitely be back! Thanks for a great experience!

This is a wonderful shop, locally owned. Great staff and nice place to take a load off and have a bite to eat and a coffee or latte.

Very good cold brew, iced tea and breakfast. Had quiche and egg and cheese sandwich. Environment was cozy and staff were very friendly and tolerant of dad jokes :). Spot has character, building combined with a bail bondsman which you don’t see every day!

I adore this place! The owners and folx that work there are so kind and accommodating. As someone who is both wheat and dairy free due to allergies, I truly appreciate that they have options for me too. ☺️
