We ordered a cake from here for a 7 year old’s birthday and they were not only able to make it exactly how we wanted with a cartoon character on the top, the cake tastes phenomenal!!! Highly recommend the strawberry cake. We found our go to cake place in nash after living here for 22 years:)

This bakery is a Nashville gem! We were able to receive one of their caramel cakes for our Winter Luncheon. It was phenomenal, the cake itself was moist and light with a great crumb. The caramel icing was the perfect balance of sweet and buttery flavor. Our staff truly enjoyed the delicious cake.

My wife and I got married at the Orthodox Church down the road from here several months ago, and one of my biggest concerns while planning was getting a cake and actually transporting it there. I had initially gone with Dessert Designs because of their proximity to the church, but I was genuinely blown away by their customer service, pricing, and the quality of our cake. The consultation we had was great, and all of their flavors were amazing, it was hard for us to settle on what we wanted. We could not have asked for a better experience than what this company provided. We have a lot of friends in the process of getting married, and these folks are our go-to recommendation for a wedding cake.

Just had the worst German chocolate cake ever ! Ordered one for my husband's birthday. He thought it was stale. I thought it was dense. What a waste of money. 64 dollars for a 6 inch cake. I can bake a better cake than this. Why does this bakery use corn syrup instead of sugar? Cheap ingredients equals a poor excuse for an expensive cake. I can't imagine anyone would use this place for their wedding cake

One of the best bakeries in the Nashville area. My boss gets a lot of food from them so in turn I eat a lot of their stuff. It's always amazing. I especially like the chocolate cake with caramel icing they make. It's so dang good. Seriously go here for your sweets need.

Well the location is subtle and has plenty of parking, and the small reception area really hides well the magic happening here. Used this artisan for the wedding cake and grooms cake 10 years ago and I've been returning ever since because my wife loves the strawberry cake. As a wedding planner, I have tasted a lot of cake and I was able to taste Dessert Designs' Firefly cake at a wedding I worked in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and I am extremely impressed to say it was the best cake I have ever had! The Carmel frosting is incredible and I highly recommend it.
