“Again, love this place and I have never had a bad meal here. I almost always sit at the bar, but on occasion have sat outside on their patio. This time, I went by myself and sat in the bar area on a Saturday, it was busy! Vandy was playing UK at home, too, adding to the mix! I got the bears fast sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese on bread—very good! And they have a dry white there that is really good, had that. Nicky as usual was a great server and bartender. A few minutes after I left, my kid showed up there! Nicky told him I had just left, so I went back and kept him company while he had the Bloody, country ham, biscuit and gravy—also very tasty! Always safe, and dependable food, drinks and service in my experience!“

“I had the corn beef hash on the day after the Queen’s passing ironically. Egg was poached perfectly and the beef was tender and not too salty. I would gladly eat it again“

“It's nice to see a bodega where English is a second language. I'm not kidding, this place has a great big city vibe that Nashville misses out on too often.
The food may be a mess to order but has always been delicious, I recommend the chicken philly and loaded fries. Food is cooked from scratch with real ingredients, is priced really well for the amount you get, and everyone is super nice. Go here for a delicious surprise that's light on the wallet.“
