We had a wonderful dinner at E3 in Nashville. The food was excellent and our server was delightful. Highly recommend. Would absolutely dine here again.

Arrived early before dinner resv to enjoy a drink in the bar. Very small, odd seating arrangement, no ambiance or music, and within view were storage items stashed under the steps leading to restaurant upstairs. Dinner appetizers of bacon wrapped dates, and ceviche were ok. Chicken marsala was drenched in sauce and very salty, others in our party had the swordfish and filet with no complaints. Service was good. So many great restaurants in Nashville that are excellent and should be considered over this one. This was our first visit to E3 and unfortunately was a disappointment.

Very personalized and special experience. Top notch food and service. Will definitely return.

Food was under cooked and awful. The bar tender had no personality nor did any other person that worked there. They did remove our salmon but but still crab cakes and salad and four drinks was $150. Go somewhere else!

E3 Chophouse was fantastic. Started with the savory Weller Bacon Fat Washed Old Fashion and the Thyme after Time cocktail that was super refreshing. I had the off menu special the Wagyu T Bone that had such an amazing flavor and my guest had the Delmonico Ribeye that was cooked with perfection. Everyone from the bartender Ilya to my server Bryce were very warm and welcoming. The manager Robert made sure to touch the table to ensure everything was up to our expectations and we couldn't have had a better time. Can't wait to return!

E3 used to be a much better restaurant, but this visit was disappointing from the beginning. Before sitting down, we ordered three basic cocktails at the bar—simple drinks on the rocks. The bartender practically looked as if he were using a jeweler's magnifying scope to ensure that not a single extra drop of liquor made it into the glass. The result was two-sip cocktails that disappeared almost instantly, each costing roughly what half a full bottle would cost at the store. At these prices, we expect a more generous, or at least hospitable, experience, and that set the tone for the rest of the evening. I ordered the New York Strip priced at $74, cooked rare. It arrived medium and had to be sent back. While everyone else at my table finished their meals, my replacement finally arrived. It shouldn't take long to cook a rare steak, yet for some reason it did. There was no apology, no manager checking in, not even a gesture of acknowledgment on the bill—just a delayed replacement plate. The wedge salad was $21 (!) tasty but average size. The atmosphere didn't help either. The dining room was nearly empty, quiet, and without any energy. For a restaurant that once felt lively and enjoyable, it was a noticeable shift. Overall, this visit gave us very few reasons to ever return to E3. For the premium prices, there are many other places that deliver better value, better service, and a more enjoyable dining experience.

Steaks were, perhaps, the best we have ever eaten. Crab cakes were excellent. Ryan was slightly below average. As a 4+ Star Chop House, we expected better service. The disappointment was 2 fold. He was either stretched too thin (we saw him serving 4-5 tables) or he just has not been trained about the —-4 ESSENTIAL OBSESSIONS —- of any server— anywhere, but especially in a space like this.
1. Intro- Smile and first give us your name… I had to ask what his name was, and then he awkwardly asked me for my name, I politely gave it to him, “Steve”. Maybe have 30 to 45 seconds of small talk - “Hey what brings you guys to town? There was no personal touch in his intro. We were celebrating our daughter-in-law’s announcement that she was pregnant with our son’s first baby. … We wanted to brag to somebody, but Ryan did not open the door …Tell us about the “entree special” of the evening he did not talk to us about the special. Direct our attention to the appetizers and tell us your favorite, and in his experience, the most popular among guests
2. Ryan seemed shocked that we did not want anything off of the wine menu. As a family, we, generally, do not consume alcohol and so we were just fine with water. My son wanted a sweet tea and Ryan said that they did not have any because the delivery person didn’t bring it… We were not sure how to process his explanation, but didn’t dwell on it for more than just a few seconds
3. Never, never, never let your guests drink run out… And if they do, it can’t be for 10 minutes. Ryan let our drinks set empty for 5 to 10 minutes three different times and each time he came back to the table, he apologized, but apologies are great one time and then results are really all that matter.
4. When you offer desserts, offer desserts. Bring the menu and talk about your personal favorite and the most popular dessert ordered among guests. He said,
“Did you save room for dessert or no? “Would you like me to go ahead and bring the check”… almost leading us to the decision that we were done. We have a family tradition where we order one or two desserts and pass them around the table with six spoons until they are gone.
Don’t get me wrong. I think Ryan has potential, but he really is not quite ready to operate in this space where it’s the nuances that matter most. I still gave him $120 tip on a $500 tab… Our experience was not a train wreck. The food was the redeeming facet of our visit. It was exceptional. We would likely give your chophouse another try when in Nashville again because of the food, and we would cross our fingers and hope for more of a 4 to 5 star experience with the server.

Kitchen and bar were slow, quality of cook and taste on the steak was underwhelming considering the price. Our waiter Gary took really good care of us despite the food and drink delays. Aside from that, the whole of the experience was quite disappointing.

We've been wanting to try E3 for a while, and finally went this evening—but it just didn't live up to the hype. The dining room was uncomfortably cold, which made it hard to settle in and enjoy the meal. The food was subpar: nothing we had stood out, and overall it lacked the flavor and polish we expect from a steakhouse at this level. Honestly, we def would've stayed home vs. dining here. I'm hopeful E3 can turn this around—warmer, more comfortable ambience and a tighter, more consistent kitchen would make a big difference. For now, though, it's hard to recommend based on our experience tonight.

It was not very busy when we came in on a Saturday, and decided to eat at the bar. Even so, our food took an incredibly long time, and when it came 2 out of the 3 steaks for our group were cooked incorrectly. Mine was ordered medium rare, and was so overcooked that it was completely grey throughout. Just a bad dining experience.

Was really disappointed with our dining experience. I felt bad being there it was so dead on a Friday night. The menu is just so bare and needs to be enhanced so much. They should shut this place down immediately or do a complete rebrand. Our steaks were very good. Other than that it’s a 1 star review.

Food is overpriced for being fairly bland. Liked the Caesar salad. The Mac and cheese and mushroom sides both had zero flavor. Filet was fine, but nothing amazing, but not terrible either. Overall E3 fell short especially considering the cost.
