Visited out of state from Ohio. I always look for Horchata and delicious food when at Mexican restaurants. Unfortunately due to where I live in ohio I usually end up with sour horchata and really greasy, soggy food. The horchata was absolutely delicious and came in a BIG cup (a huge plus as an avid horchata fan) and the food was wonderful. I only got a cheese quesadilla due to some dietary restrictions, but it was great nonetheless. My boyfriend got a more intricate dish and loved it. If I lived in the area/state I'd visit often. My only critique is to provide an itemized bill to customers before checking out as I had no idea how much everything outside of the menu would be. Other than that- Thank you for not being overbearing wait staff and thank you for the delicious food experience!!

They take a long time
On top of nasty food and a completely OVERPRICED bill, they had very very young children working I couldn't believe what I saw and the bathroom was completely nasty. Instead of buying toilet paper they had paper towels scattered on the nasty ground. Don't Don't go here and save yourself the trouble
Nasty food, over cooked and I was completely overcharged. They have no system they just put prices they think is right. Don’t waste youre time or money here. Bad service and wouldn’t accept how I wanted my food made? It was all a terrible experience. I knew as I soon as I walked in we should have went somewhere else but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt.” Last time I go against my gut.
I ordered the peñita plate, which is grilled shrimp and grilled tilapia. The shrimp and its seasoning was AMAZING and I loved the toppings, sides, and corn tortillas that I got with it. Unfortunately, my tilapia (under the shrimp in the picture) definitely seemed overcooked and I only ate about a quarter of it. The server was very friendly and it's a cute lil restaurant.

Food was mediocre - the guacamole had big chunks of avocado in it that made it difficult to eat, and the chicken tasted a bit off as if it had been sitting out.Would have been 3-4 star review but they handed us out old menus with lower prices on them, and then charged us at the end $2-3 extra per item because apparently they had handed out old menus. Instead of honoring the prices on the menus they handed us initially (which factored heavily into what we ordered), they charged us the prices on the new menu (which they never provided us before they handed us our bill). It may have been an honest mistake, but if it was, they would have honored the prices they gave us. I am the customer - it is not my job to realize that we were handed old menus with incorrect prices. Instead of simply honoring the prices they gave us, they kept trying to explain what had happened, as if me knowing we received old menus would have made me okay with paying more for food they, perhaps inadvertently, advertised as costing less. In my opinion, that is a sneaky way to do business, and a great way to lose new customers.

A simple, no frills, family-run restaurant. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better corn tortilla in Nashville.

Solid little Mexican diner that serves up it’s food hot and fresh out of the kitchen. The prices are a little high for what you get. The flavor and quality could be a little higher. It’s a good place to try Birria tacos. Everything else that we tried was pretty average but good. We preferred the salsa over the chips. Not bad and I would comeback. It’s better than most in the area!

After a while of going here, I noticed that they manipulated the cost of my food. The register they use is completely manual and old school. They put in the prices as they see fit. There is no POS system and no itemized receipt they provide. I'm very disappointed, it feels like they do this a lot. I got the same exact order several times, and the price was different depending on who rings me up. I noticed several dollars (not including tips) added on from the price I saw at the register even. The young man with long hair rings up properly; however, the older gents that work there change the prices to juice up the numbers. I'll no longer be going here.
