Emmy Squared Pizza: The Gulch - Nashville, Tennessee

This place probably was the best pizza I have ever had. We came in from out of town and found this place and boy was it good!! We had a margherita pizza and a meat pizza. Amazing. We split a caesar salad and it was a great salad! Highly recommend this place.

Once I figured out what this was and it's location I have not stopped talking about it. Last time I was there for the pizza and this time for the burger. Neither disappointed!

We ate on the rooftop at this location and it was lovely! Pizza and Le Big Matt Burger were perfect as always!

All the food was delicious, service was good and for the amount of food you get, the pricing is fair.

I called because our pizza was never delivered and to check why. The person who answered told me it was picked up. It never was they closed and lied to me. That is just not cool.

Hidden gem! The pizza is knock out the box slamming. Our waitress was so great we went back the next night and nixed the Tennessee BBQ.

I’m writing this review solely in regard to the manager, Melissa, at the 12th Ave S location. We booked the upstairs seating for a large party because during our last visit, the tables had been arranged together to form one long table so everyone could sit as a group. This time, however, the tables were all separated due to fire safety regulations.

What truly disappointed us wasn’t the setup itself, but Melissa’s consistently rude and hostile attitude throughout our interactions. From the very first conversation about seating, she was defensive and beyond rude with every response, as if customer interactions wasn’t a part of her job description. We were paying a significant amount of money to reserve the space, and the way she spoke to us — with a complete lack of courtesy or professionalism — was unacceptable.

She treated us like an inconvenience from the moment we walked in, showed no interest in working with me to find an alternate solution, and spoke to me in a condescending tone. For someone in a managerial position, this behavior is shocking. If customer service isn’t Melissa’s strength, Emmy Squared should seriously consider placing someone else in that role.

It’s unfortunate that such a promising evening was tainted by her attitude. The rest of the staff were wonderful, and the food was great — but we won’t be returning because of how poorly we were treated by the manager.

Simply phenomenal delicious pizza! Hawaiian is delish w real bacon, small pineapple pieces so as not overwhelming with each bite. Ground Korean red pepper (flakes) unique touch, and the fresh Parmesan was perfect as well. Could not recommend this place any more for perfect Detroit style pizza. This is Not a romantic ambiance, nor quiet, but a friendly vibe and the waitstaff was very social and attentive! We considered pushing our flight back today just so we could have an early lunch with them again!

Loved the pizza Fun lunch! We were visiting Nashville and told to come here , and so glad we did! Try it!

I’m from Detroit and they nailed it actually It was better then Pizza places I have been to in Detroit!!!!!!Great job!!!

The MVP pizza - just do it We get it every time and it's so so good! Or do the VIP if you like a little heat!

One of my favorite restaurants! We went here for our 1 year anniversary (this was our first date) and they read our open table notes!! Wished us happy anniversary and gave us a sweet treat and champagne to celebrate!!! :) Our waitress Brittany G and hostess (brown hair in a ponytail sorry I can't remember your name) were so sweet and made are anniversary dinner a success!!!
