I’ve had these wonderful empanadas for 4 consecutive weekends now, I’m obsessed!! I found the truck at the Nolensville Farmer’s market the first time and decide to give it a shot. It said on the truck that these are from Paraguay. I had never tried any food from Paraguay before but I know I love empanadas from many different Latin-American countries so it was a no-brainer to try them. I had the chicken, the beef and the egg and Chorizo and accidentally got a free apple one that I didn’t try but my hubby said it was lovely. And when the nice lady realized she gave us an apple one instead of the egg and chorizo we ordered she fixed it immediately and let us keep the apple one free of charge. Since that day I’ve been to the farmer’s market every Saturday just for the empanadas. I love them. The flavor is very simple and they’re everything I want in a handheld savory, small piece of heaven. I will probably be back next Saturday again. My kids love them too! So we can’t never buy enough! I only got the empanadas from the truck the first time I went. Since then they have outdoor tent instead. And the very nice and lady and her teenage boys run the business. I love, love their product!! Try it!!

Glad I got to try this little food truck for the second time . It comes to the M’boro at least once a month to Cedar Glades Brewery . The empanadas are tasty and have cute lil cow stamps for the beef and chicken ones The chorizo and egg was a nice suprise . They also have emapanda desserts . The Dulce leche one was amazing . Worth a try if you get a chance imo .

Had the new charcuterie board from empanada lua at Monday Night Brewing, and it was legit! Such a big board with all the best empanadas added!

I watched as they pulled the frozen empanadas out of plastic wrap. The chorizo one was okay but the chicken one was flavorless. The Yuka fries had hard bits in them that I couldn’t even break apart with my fingers. The biggest thing for me was that the workers had no gloves and the lady coughed into her hand and then grabbed a bag of frozen cheese bread out of a store bought bag and reached into it with the hand she had just coughed directly into. I also have no clue what the hard things in the Yuka fries were… I’m so glad I didn’t crack my tooth! I don’t mind waiting 15-20 minutes but paying $21 for food I had to toss, is really frustrating.

I randomly stumbled upon this food truck during a trip to Nashville. I’ve never had an empanada before and after tasting the ones from Empanada Lua, I can honestly say I’ve been missing out!I tried the Corn & Cheese and Chicken empanadas. While both were good, the chicken was fantastic! I could’ve eaten a whole plate of them! I tried them both with the Chipotle Ranch dipping sauce and it was the perfect combo! The young man at the counter was pleasant and wait time was reasonable. I think I stopped at the perfect time because there weren’t many people ahead of me. However, by the time I finished my serving a full line had formed. If I was a local, I would definitely be a frequent customer. For those interested in giving them a try, their truck schedule is posted on their website and Instagram!

Found this food truck outside of Pins Mechanical the other day and what a treat it was! While I can't tell you that it will always be located there. What I can tell you was this was my first time having an empanada and they were super tasty. They are pretty small, so I'll recommend getting 2 so that you don't have to wait in line again. I made that mistake and jokingly fussed at the nice young man who was taking the orders. "Why didn't you tell me they were going to be super good and we'll see you back in a few moments." Out of the 2 had which were the chicken and beef, the chicken is the way to go! Good prices, great service and tasty food. Just what you want. I hope you enjoy!

The food truck was at Ceder Glade Brews. I got my order of ham and cheese, and there was no ham in it at all. I walked back up to ask if they could replace the one i did not eat, and they said no. Better luck next time. I will tell anyone who asks to never eat at this food truck.

Wonderful service and food! They don't usually serve coffee but were so kind to make a cup for my MIL using their own Keurig and creamers for her.
